One of many forts which was meant for ancient commercial trade route protection is Hadsar Fort. Marvelous sculpture design and the carved monolithic structure of the fort entrance is something which makes this fort more beautiful. The steps are cut out of the rock. Number of forts like Chavand, Naneghat, Shivneri, Bhairavgad, and Jivdhan can be seen along with Manikdoh Dam. There are two ways to reach the top. One is southern gate which is easy and comfortable to go and the other is north entrance which also provides natural cut rocks to hold and climb up.
