And of course, her apprentice was absolutely right, because as soon as Sulli ripped her eyes from her fourth slice of pizza, it was hard not to notice how the rain had become significantly heavier than before. What kind of weather in the midst of a reunion. “I think we actually have some in the cabinets, just wait right here! I’ll get them.” With one nod of reassurance, she carefully placed her meal back on a plate to search through the kitchen’s cabinets. Funny enough, what she found weren’t your typical candles to keep the place lit up if the electricity were to go poof— there was just around eight tiny scented candles. In her best attempt to grab them all, the young woman cradled all of them in her arms (very clumsily) and carefully made her way back to the couch. “Well, there are only these… I don’t think they’d do much for a dark place, but on the positive side they do smell pretty amazing?” Ironically, one of them was scented as a rainy day, just to top it all off. Then as if out nowhere, her eyes lit up. “I think we might have two lanterns in the hallway closet but—” Squinting, she hesitated to go on.

It was just a hunch that had prompted him to speak those words, but with the rain hammering against the windows with enough force to produce a rather unpleasant noise, as opposed to the gentle, relaxing sound normal spring rain brought with it, and the regular angry rumbling of thunder that almost succeeded in breaking his reverie, the possibility of a blackout seemed quite real to him. Reluctantly, and only because of the temptingly delicious slice of pizza in his hands, Soohyun let his superhero get the candles on her own, although he didn’t remain in his sitting position for very long, for he got up to help her with the candles she had brought back as soon as she was in sight again. A loud, yet light-hearted, chuckle slipped through his lips at both the sight and the words she uttered, and another followed suit shortly after when he read through the labels and spotted one for rainy days. “Actually, I think this one is perfect. We can completely immerse ourselves in the feeling of a rainy day, talk about the rain, dance to the sound of the thunder… I mean, who even needs light, right?” Of course his suggestion was in no way serious – although he would probably be up for doing those things anyway, since he had found out long ago that anything was fun with Sulli by his side –, which was made clear by the amused glint in his eyes and the grin that curved his lips.

"But—” Sulli reached her hand outside of the door to feel the cold water hit palm. To be completely honest, it was tempting. The rain against her skin felt nice, and funny enough, usually she’d be the instigator for these type of situations; she considered her favorite hobby dancing in the rain, strangely enough. “I don’t want to be paranoid, but what if I get sick? I am working on an album now, Jongsuk— this would be on your conscious, forever and ever. The fans would never forgive you.” She remarked playfully with an arched brow in an attempt to keep some of her serious facade.

*at realizing who it was, a bright grin appeared on her face as she immediately bowed, in disbelief that she’d meet someone like her so soon* Sulli-ssi? It’s very nice to meet you too-- I’m a fan of you and f(x)! *she lets out a soft laugh* And yes, I am. Call me Keumjo or even Jojo, if you’d like.
