“No, thanks. I’m…” The handle of a grocery bag slid down his shoulder. He felt like a donkey, carrying a violin case, a laptop, a bag of dog food, and groceries up the stairs all in one go. “…fine.”
She raised an eyebrow and smiled, rather amused, at the other. He was literally full of stuff, which looked quite heavy, and trying to go up the stairs. “ Cool! Just tell me what should I help you with, the dog food or the groceries, or both? The other two things are a big no because they are pretty personal and if something happens to them I don’t want to be the one at fault. ”
