I recognize this too, yeah. The Physical Realm is where extroverts rule the roost, so to speak, so we get a bit confused by online stuff, I guess. It is good that the internet is a safe space for introverts, it is! All interaction, if it occurs, is on your own terms, which is a nice and comforting thing. But at the same time it just feels crappy, you know? Constantly being portrayed as a soul-sucking jerk for just being how you are?

So no, I don't think that issue is I v. E, but that is also not what Mel's post was about? Mel's post was about the perception of extroverts by the generalized introvert culture on tumblr, and almost. Vilification thereof? Extrovert-shaming is kind of on its way to becoming a thing on tumblr just because they're widely outnumbered by the introverts, who find them tiring but at the same time expect them to constantly initiate things and coo at them and read their minds and automatically know when they've Had Enough. It's not about how people are shitty at talking, it's about how people are shitty about other people's needs.

I thought that would be obvious? Seriously they should be creating Boku no Hornets instead???????
