24hrs on duty is a lot for anyone - you’d think most people would just go home and sleep it off but after some of the cases she had today, Tove needed to have a drink. There weren’t many horrors, but some of the calls were just bizarre. The differences between the mortal world and Mount Phoenix were slim, but also grand at the same time. She didn’t think or imagine what answering calls were like in MP.
Pushing the door open into the club, the noises in her head were muffled by the music. The place was stunning and immediately she was in awe of the pool. If she’d known there was a pool she would’ve brought her swimsuit. Carefully she made her away around the edge to find the bar. “Hi, excuse me?” Her voice quieted down at the end of her sentence as she realised the person behind the bar was busy. Looking down she picked at her cuticles, a bit embarrassed.
Looking around she saw everyone enjoying the night. It was hard to enjoy the night after being so exhausted but it was still something she wanted to do. Somehow, some way she’d enjoy the night, even if it was relaxing for an hour before getting home to sleep really deep.
