A letter had been placed in front of her door, along with a few orchids. In a scribbled handwriting on the envelope was her name.
"Dear Naeun-ssi,
Now that the week has ended, and I’m no longer considered to be your husband, there are a few things that I would like to say to you. And because I’m such a coward, I have taken up the excuse that women might like to receive letters, flowers and chocolates. So here this is — my cowardly attempt— instead of telling you all this in person.
I have really enjoyed myself the past week and I hope that you can say the same. I know I’m sometimes an annoying punk or maybe even a troublesome donsaeng but I can only hope you can see past all my —childlike— boyish behaviour.
This week, I must admit, has been shorter than I had wanted it to be. I might as well admit that I did not want this week to end, but unfortunately we are all a victim when it comes to time.
So with this note I want to say that I like you and that I hope you maybe would like to go on a real date with me. Nothing forced, just us two and a nice dinner in a real restaurant instead of sushi. If you wish not to do so, I will accept that and not bring it up again.

Coming home from schedules, Naeun noticed the beautiful flowers and only after picking them up spotted the letter. She opened the envelope and tugged out the piece of paper that was contained, then slowly started reading it. The further she came with his words, the bigger her smile grew and she couldn’t help but sigh deeply in happiness. Bringing the things over into her room, she quickly started writing a reply to her former husband. Of course, she could’ve easily called or texted him, but writing a handwritten answer just seemed to be more personal.
"Dear Jimin-ssi,
I found your letter to be really precious, I’m not gonna lie. I’ve never received such a cute and honest letter and I’m not even mad about you not being able to tell me this in person. Well.. I know how hard that is. And the flowers, woah, they’re wonderful, thank you a lot!
The week was indeed very nice and I also enjoyed every single day we spent together. In all honesty, I also wished it could’ve lasted for a little longer, even if we did nothing special together. We did all the things I could’ve done alone as well, but .. It was just so much better when having you with me. Your behaviour was all right, you don’t need to worry. Your playful yet sincere being was just brightening up my life a little, which is why I want you to stay as you are.
About your suggestion .. I’d love to go on a real date with you. Not only because this week went so well, but also because I really want to get to know you even more. Time was too short, and even if we never lacked topics to talk about, we weren’t able to find out all too much about each other, so .. Whenever you’re free, tell me and we will meet up for a proper date. I’m looking forward to it!

As she found a nice looking envelope, she folded her letter and stuck it in before making her way over to the male’s home. Before arriving, she quickly bought a small cupcake and then brought it over to his front door along with the letter. Taking a deep breath, she knocked once, twice, before turning around and quickly waddling away to get back home.
