in many cases people bias the bts maknae line based on their attractiveness (and their general popularity) than they do for their talent (not withstanding how much bh dropped the ball on really crafting that) or really just musical body of work and it shows in the way they interact with content all the time
as expected from my braincell partner al,,,, agreed. hard HARD agree. maknae line are the stan attractors for the demographic hybe wants to cash in on (10-18 y/os) but they donβt have the artistic drive hyung line possesses. idk i think hybe really dropped the ball when they decided ml didnβt need vocal coaches back in 2014

i loved your post. one could say the way you see yoongi in your life is like the strong clear wind that comes through after a humid month of summer. maybe he was a surprise at first, but now you look forward to every time you can hear the windows rattle, the sound through the wall that is as familiar as it is exciting every time. and he's not only the wind, he's the rain breaking through the summer sky afterwards, bringing you warmth and exhilaration at once, snapping against the glass like a greeting over and over again, reminding you that what brought you joy has returned even in moments you might not expect it at first. and to be honest, i think it's visible in the way you post about him.

some of taylor's most compelling and interesting songs, especially recently (hoax, coney island, mtr, tolerate it, even so it goes) have some of taylor's best writing but a lot of them get ignored bc they can't be applied cut-and-dry to taylor's life. which, like, they don't need to to be a good song. generally i think that many swifies really don't know what to do with taylor's songs if they aren't about herself, (which correlates with them thinking all too well is still her best writing.)

But yea, I agree, even though I feel like the songs you picked are very appreciated and in some cases easily applied to Taylor's life β fans EAT UP the Coney Island bridge because of the callbacks to previous songs, and MTR is beloved because of the master's thing. At least that is what I have seen. Tbh, I feel like we all have a bubble that isn't always reflective of what "big swifties" or instagram Swifties think, so maybe we have got it all wrong, but there just IS a trend where Taylor songs are most often discussed in relation to their muse. Whoever you believe that muse to be. I remember when Taylor reblogged that post about INTHAF saying the song was super personal to her and so many people were confused because it doesn't have lines specifying who or what real event it is about. it's just vibes.
