au were shy!freshman jungkook fall deeply in love with sweet Jimin after an awkward first encounter.
-Freshman!Jungkook never got to believe that he will met with his love of semester (or love of his life, he doesnât know) in a bus of Seul.
-Jimin is just a guy in the same bus that Jungkook has to take to go to university, but has a sign in his lap saying: âPlease, wake me up when we are close to Yonseiâ.
-Jungkook is the shy guy who is close to him so when he nervously notice that they are going to arrive to the next stop, he starts to sweat and turn down his music of BigBang to just touch the shoulder of the gorgeous strange with orange hair. And for god sake, he canât believe that the guy that he thought was cute and sweet while sleeping is just a jerk who woke up with a grunt and stood up of his seat to run away. He doesnât even said âthank youâ or something.
-For the rest of the day, in class, Jungkook canât stop thinking about that jerk and imagined himself looking like a complete idiot with red cheeks and sweat in his forehead. He tries to not cringe to much and donât be so socially awkward with the new college experience (eventough he just keep talking by kakaotalk with his friends because he is just to shy to approach someone in real life). He just even has to go to eat his lunch alone while playing with his DS and listen to music when his others classmates are so good making new friends and groups.
-Everything is going relative fine until he notices that the TA of his calculus class is the jerk with orange hair.
-Jungkook has a lot to say to The Jerk⌠but what he does is sit in the back of the class hoping for dear life that the guy doesnât notice him, hiding behind his textbook and pretending to write a lot in his notebook even though he doesnât understand nothing that are trying to teach him.
-He end his first day victorious, or something like that.
-The next week continues in that.
-He even makes a friend! (Is a guy who inscribe himself in a thing to make awkward freshman´s like him feel more welcome, but he tries hard to not think in that). Kim Taehyung, a guy two years older that him and is so fucking popular that he feels like a little shit just sitting beside him in the lunch. But Taehyung teach him the rest of the campus (Jungkook doesnât tell him that he knows it because he went to the tour the year before).
-Taehyung insists that it´s important he tries to inscribe in a club and everything. (Jungkook says that he is going to think about it).
-He is proud that he is good hiding of the TA teacher (aka The Jerk), Park Jimin.
-Everything goes down when he has the idea of get a coffee before his next class and when he is going to talk with the barista he notices that is The Jerk and he just goes blank. Totally awkward. Can´t even said a word because Park Jimin, in his uniform, orange hair and black thick glasses is watching him, and he is scared that is going to recognize him! He hopes for everything in the world that sitting in the far corner of the class have served of something and that Park Jimin does not remember the first awkward day where Jungkook just wants to disappear after the fiasco of the bus, but for his bad luck Jimin just watchs him one time and smiling says: âOh! You⌠You are in my class! Why you always sit so far behind and alone?â
-Jungkook just wants to disappear.
-Instead of answer him he just can say: âI want one americano⌠pleaseâŚâ
-Jimin, contrary of what he can think, just smile and nods. But when he is passing him the coffee, end saying: âNext class, sit in front, okay?â
-In the end Jimin doesnât remember him from the bus, just from class.
-Jungkook wants to die when he is sitting in the front with a girl who look so fucking concentrate when he doesnât understand a single shit of what Jimin is trying so hard to teach them, and everything go down hill when he just ask him for some kind of answer. Yes. Jungkook knows his career has a lot of maths and science (more the second that everything), thank you, but calculus is just hell and he canât answer or even look to Jimin who, thank god, just let him be and let other person answer.
-Jimin ends teach him in the library after class some days at week and Jungkook canât believe that this sweet boy is the person he had to wake up in the bus weeks before. Sometimes when he has some free time in his job of the coffee he sits with Jungkook and talk for a bit, and slowly Jungkook start to feel how his cheeks get warmer when he is with Jimin.
-Surprise for him! when one day he get the notice that Taehyung and Jimin are actual childhood friends.
-Taehyung is the first person in noticed that Jungkook has a crush for his best friend.
-Jungkook canât fucking concentrate in class because he is watching the way Jimin walks, move his lips, smile and the little drops of sweat in his forehead and neck when the class is coming to the end. Can´t get his eyes away of him when they are sit close and Jimin is teaching him with a patience out of this world how to make a exercise a lot of times. Can´t help but feel butterflies in the stomach when he make Jimin laugh until he is bending in a table or just get his body on any type of surface.
-One night he is watching Kimi ni Todoke and just know that he is falling deeply for Jimin.
-Of course he panics and try to hide it and denied it.
-Being close to Jimin is more difficult with the time.
-He canât help but develop the hobby of take photos of him; when he is laughing, when he is looking other things, sleeping, eating, dancing, doing his homework, running, walking for the street when they end going to eat to the center of Seul. And Taehyung just is getting fucking crazy because Jungkook is so obvious and his best friend is blind or something.
-To the beginning of the second semester Jungkook gets the solution to his problem: Writing a letter confessing (in anonymous). Is something clichĂŠ, yes, but is the best option because he doesnât has the nuts to just go and say that to Jimin in his face. He doesnât believe can endure the rejection and lose his friendship with him. So, he let the letter in his backpack when he is not looking and just wait for the reaction.
-The next day Jimin is normal in class but is after that he tell him about this letter he received. âSaid he likes me and is going to confess really soon⌠I don´t know who can be. I mean, who can I like?â (Jungkook is very tempting to say: âI LIKE YOUâ, but just stay quiet).
-Get the courage to say the true to Jimin is harder than it looks.
-Jungkook just can write three other letters to him and see his reaction the next day, when Jimin tell him about it. And he feels in heaven because he can notices the blush in his cheeks and the way he is smiling. (âSometimes when someone tell you that they like you, you start to like them backâ, said one time Eunbi, the cute girl of his biostatistics class when they were chilling and pretending to study in silence. And maybe is true. He hopes that).
-Everything goes to hell.
-Before Jungkook was ready to say to Jimin that he was the one who wrote these letters and confess his true feelings for him, Jimin just tell him the âbig newsâ that he met the person behind the letters and now they are dating.
-Broken heart in 3âŚ2âŚ1âŚ
-Taehyung just keep tell him that he is an idiot.
-Jungkook agrees.
-It turns out that (of fucking course) Jungkook wasnât the only person in all the university that has a crush on Jimin, but the universe just conspired to make one of the many has the audacity to say him the things that Jungkook cannot. And of course that guy was somebody who was sweet to him before (someone of his dance club).
-Jungkook just can regret everything and watch the way that Jimin kiss someone else, hold hands, hugs (and doesnât want to think in other things for his own sanity).
-The semester (and year) ends  in that way and Jungkook goes back to Busan for the break hoping that in some way forget his feelings for Jimin.
-Of course, it doesnât happen.
-Of course he just miss Jimin so much that hurts and his feelings of regret get worst when he see in all his social media the photos of him and his boyfriend.
-Jimin sends him a lot of texts.
-Jungkook doesnât answer any of them, except of one of: âHappy new yearâ.
-He knows he is acting like a little shit, but canât help it.
-For the beginning of the next year in college Jungkook doesnât see Jimin in the bus or class. He tries to think is normal because everything change. Is his second year, after all. But starts to feel a little paranoid when he doesnât see him in the coffee too. He doesnât see him the second day and asks Taehyung, who doesnât give a lot of answers really so Jungkook just can text Jimin.
-Jimin is mad, of course, but after a little chat he agreed to see him in a shopping center.
-For his surprise now Jimin is blonde.
-He is gorgeous like always.
-Jimin is really mad about Jungkook ignoring him in the holidays and Jungkook canât get all the words in the world to apologize but after invite him to eat ice cream and buy him a new ring Jimin feels a lot better and even let him a bag (that Jungkook notice he was carrying but doesnât think to much about that) ant tell him that it was his christmas gifts. It was a jacket. He feel worst about all the thing after that.
-Jimin say is okay.
-Jungkook doesnât think that, and in the end he is about to say everything when suddenly Jimin tell him that he broke up with his boyfriend: âIt doesnât feel right, you know? Because⌠It was⌠A different person. When I read that letters I though⌠But, anyway, yeah, I broke up with him. Feel a little bad about it but it was for the bestâ. (Jungkook feel so fucking happy). He canât answer to that and just stay frozen in his place, but Jimin is looking at him and shrugging. âWill you hate me if I say this?â, Jungkook doesnât have the time to answer. âWhen I read that letters the person I imagined putting that in my backpack was you, so when he confessed to me and it was not you, I was confused and thinked that all was in my imagination. Feel a little awkward hanging with you because it was so embarrassing, have a thought that I could have liked you. We are friends, right?â.
-âWe are not fucking friendsâ, and suddenly Jungkook found his voice.
