Another (medium power) transistor replaced on this JH-16. As expected, ALL four 2N2270 driving transistors on the driver boards of the tape brakes, pinch roller, tape lifter and head shield are completely dead. Same thing for the one on the Phase Locked Loop board... The (Studio Piscine Ă Tokyo-) refurbished transport PSU seems to have improved things a "bit" since last year... âşď¸ There are still missing functions (pinch roller, tape lifter and head shield don't move, and capstan doesn't spin either) but that is no big deal actually.
