So you know exactly who you’re looking forward to seeing if you betray me.” The fifteen year old couldn’t help the amused grin that finds its way across his lips as he looks at the mafia boss. Perhaps it wasn’t the most appropriate reaction to a death threat, but who could help it when they were standing face to face with some guy who looked like any other flower-boy on the street? So K-Sung wasn’t some middle aged dude with scars and a muscular build, nor was he an older gentleman with a crisp black suit like something out of the manhwa that he so liked reading…Interesting. Oh well, he didn’t choose his loyalties based on looks. If he did this dude would be shit out of luck because quite frankly, aside from the sour expression on his face he didn’t really appear to be the type that could be a threat. But then again he didn’t either. So perhaps birds of a feather flocked together. “Yeah, yeah. That’s nice and all….But,” He replies with a wave of his hand, plunging a hand into the pocket of his denim jacket, pulling out a lighter and a pack of cigarettes that he’d swiped from his deadbeat dad. Threats have no effect on him, as he already has no regard for himself whatsoever. It’s the thing that makes him dangerous. When one doesn’t see themselves in a picture, the things that they are willing to do to another human being are horrific. Consequences were nothing to him. Meeting the leader’s eyes with an apathetic gaze, he lit up his cigarette and took a long drag before blowing silver smoke into the tense air. “Tell me something I don’t know. Like why the hell I’m here. You got a job for me or are we here to share beauty secrets? Sorry to tell you but my youthful looking skin is because I’m actually young, can’t help you there.”                                                             { k-sung }

The teen is sprawled out on the damp grass of one of the neighborhood parks, and he feels nothing at all. He likes to imagine that the air is cool and crisp as it normally is after a summer night’s rain, the scraps of his memory help him to piece together the sensations in his mind that he’s unable to experience. Completely silent as he stares up at the sky, Jeongguk can’t help but to wonder just what awaits him when he finally does take Sullivan’s advice to step into the light. He may have died...yet he’s never actually put much thought into what comes next. He hasn’t had to as of yet. But soon his usefulness on earth will have expired, and he’ll have to face the choice: move on or become a wraith. It’s causing him anxiety and he hasn’t even really gotten to the point where he needs to make that decision.  So of course he’s thankful for the distraction when a barefooted stranger takes a seat beside him. Anything to pull him out of the labyrinth of his thoughts. “You think so?” He replies conversationally, turning his head to regard the other male with an analytical gaze.
