Dearest Eric,
I hope you're doing well while trying to make peace with France. In truth, they can be a bit difficult at times. I'm sure we'll pull through eventually, though.
Around the kingdom, things have been pretty quiet. But, there has been a sighting of a strange kind of fish that is said to be a giant pink serpent. Even with all the time I've spent under the sea, I've never seen such a fish.

Ariel leisurely walked around the hallways of the castle, when she suddenly heard a strange, loud gurgling sound. She followed her ears to the bathroom. Hesitantly, the young queen opened the door a tad and peeked inside. There, lay Eric, and he was- drowning? In the bathtub? Nonetheless, she flung open the door and darted into the room. She quickly grabbed her husband by his broad shoulders and dragged him halfway out, coughing. "Eric," she said lightly, brushing the soaked hair out of his eyes, "What were you doing? I can understand drowning in the ocean, in the black of night, during a storm, but this is a bathtub! I thought you were a sailor!" And despite everything, the redhead burst into giggles.
