jesse x nate
Nate wasn't sure what he was doing here. He knew he should have stayed out of his students' business. And clearly, whatever it was Jesse was doing, he was doing it for his own reasons. Nate didn't have to get involved with it. But he was an educator, and it didn't just involve teaching students. It involved worrying about their well-being, too. And he was afraid that if he didn't step in, he might not have had the chance to later on. When he heard the knock on his door, he readjusted himself on his seat before calling out. "Come in. And please shut the door behind you." He watched as Jesse seemed to reluctantly walk into his office, his eyes not leaving the man.
"Thanks for coming to see me. I know there are other things you'd rather be doing with your time," he explained, gently loosening the tie that hung around his neck. "I know I'm not a guidance counselor but I'm concerned. Is everything okay?" Of course he already had an idea of what was going on. He had overheard Jesse talking to the principal, making some demands, among other things. "I want you to know that you can talk to me about anything, okay?"
