I got passed really close on the way home today. Since I was in the neighborhood, I chased him down to try my hand at peaceful confrontation.
There is a new section of the LA River Bike Path that has opened (randomly) between Winnetka and Vanalden. I rode it. It's nice. :)

There will be a presentation and motion regarding the proposed Winnetka bike lanes between Nordhoff and Devonshire. This is my contribution, showing what life is like in the right most lane on this stretch currently. While I know the law is on my side (see final text), all cyclists would be safer with a bike lane since drivers seem to be confused on the law (not to mention distracted drivers). If you have a public comment, please come to the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council meeting tonight (April 4th, 2012) at 7pm at the Lawrence Middle School library. Thanks!
