A door opens and a tall person with a tail and small horns, balancing on hooves, though they're flat and wide enough to not fall. It waves as they notice it.

I’m directing this at you @meandeternity because you’re the only one I know who will care, but UGH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! Bonus points for Khary essentially shutting down the possibility of a CZ reconciliation.Â
I’m just curious, but who are your favourite TWD characters besides Caryl? Maybe even a little blurb about why you like them? I know this isn’t what you usually do, but I would love to get to know a little bit of the person behind this account !!
Obviously Carol and Daryl are my top two, but I’m always happy to discuss other characters. Some of my favorites are…
Michonne - Carol understandably gets labeled "the most transformed," but Michonne's growth as a character is pretty phenomenal too. She's always been a badass warrior, but I love that over time she allowed herself to show a more nurturing side and a great sense of humor. I think her relationships with Rick and Carl were integral to that.
Glenn - In early seasons, he was the adorable dork of the group, but his resilience made him the biggest asset. I think he might also be one of the only long-term characters whose morality never wavered no matter what they had to deal with.
Lydia - There is a strong possibility my investment in her character has everything to do with her having so much in common with both Daryl and Carol. Despite a long history of abuse, she's stronger than ever with a heart of gold.
Kelly - I'm not saying I'm glad Connie went missing, but her absence has really given Kelly some much needed time to shine and shine she does. I love her rationality and youthful resilience. For being so young, she's one of the most mature characters on the show. I also love how loyal she is and how determined she is to make sure the people she cares about are safe (i.e. Luke, Connie).
Jerry - He may not be the most developed, but he always makes me laugh. I mean, how do you not love this guy? His relationship with Ezekiel is everything and I really hope they get to reunite. I also really loved his interactions with Carol in Diverged, and how perceptive he was of her relationship with Daryl. What he said about "a friend thinking you're perfect when everyone else thinks you're broken" was spot on and now I need to hear the words come out of Daryl's mouth. Ugh.
First off, love Ezekiel and Jerry together in anything.
1. So glad they talked how uneventful their reunion at the Commonwealth was, basically.
2. Cooper Andrew's impression of NR/Daryl was spot on, lol
3. Yes, KP was right about Carol having to come to him because of her nature. I hope it is that way for Daryl and Carol's reconciliation.
4. I love KP even more now for calling out that Rick brings destruction with him wherever he goes. :p
5. I object completely to that last fan's statement. I blame Rick for Glenn's death. How many times has Rick made a bad call and the members of his group paid with their lives? He was the one who kept rallying them on and I remember Glenn and Carol being the two verbally against messing with Negan and his people. Glenn's own wife didn't even blame Daryl, so I am confused. Negan even said "let's get back to it" before killing Glenn. He always planned to take out two people that night, at least. He's smart. He analyzed the men. Saw that he wanted to invest in Daryl and Rick by getting them on his side and thought to break the group's spirit by killing Glenn. It worked. Thinking about all the verbal clues, that's just my take on it.
I will always love the Grimes but I bet if it had been him who socked Negan in the jaw instead of Daryl, many people would have said "yeah, that was for Abe/Glenn/Rosita!" "Rick did what anyone would have done in that situation."
Not saying people give him a pass. I don't think he's readily given the amount of blame he's due, either.
1. Speaks to how much they care about Zeke's and Jerry's bond to raise that point. I've noticed all the actors are being pretty transparent about the show's shortcomings lately. Wonder why ;)
2. That made me laugh! Well, pretty much everything they said made me laugh.
3. Yes, I agreed with him on Carol as well. And I got a kick out of him trying to skirt around the fact that Zeke and Carol aren't getting back together. "There's always fanfiction" lol As far as Daryl and Carol go, I feel like Daryl is currently trying to leave it up to Carol to decide what she wants, but ultimately, he's going to have to be *very* clear about what he wants first.
4. All in good fun, but yes, still true.
5. I definitely need to re-watch S6, but I'm inclined to agree with Khary and Cooper. Negan's the one who brought the bat down. Not to say Rick didn't make a bad call by slaughtering Negan's group.
Don't you worry. I can't say anything definite until I watch it for myself, but I feel confident we are getting ready for an Ezekiel and Jerry reunion. I can just feel it. Why else would Jerry open up about missing Ezekiel to Carol? I think one of the reasons is because he can relate to how Carol is feeling, since she admitted in the same episode to herself (and Dog) that she misses Daryl.
You're definitely onto something. Jerry could not stop talking about Ezekiel in that scene, and I love how Carol had to subtly be like "yeah, enough already" lol We might not get to see the initial reunion with the time skip and all, but give me scenes of the two of them being each other's person and I'll be happy.
