Request: You are Jerome’s daughter and when you’re kidnapped he makes those who took you pay
Never one to sacrifice the dramatics Jerome blew in the front door of his enemy’s lair, the door smacking four henchmen out of the way, letting Jerome and his followers inside to mow down any of the others with machine guns and one well-placed grenade. Once Jerome was through the outer layer of defense he told his followers to wait there, trusting none of them when your life was involved.
He travelled down hallways and searched every room, killing every other person in the lair, until he found the main office, seeing you in the desk chair, his enemy standing next to you with a knife at the ready.
“Should I cut her face off to match yours?” he asked with a smirk, thinking that Jerome wouldn’t fire the gun around you. Jerome looked at you, seeing your fearful eyes and knowing that he was going to do some damage to this guy, nice and slow.
“Cover your eyes princess,” Jerome said softly. You nodded and your hands covered your eyes. You heard a bang and then screaming, lots and lots of screaming. “Keep your eyes closed.” You trusted your father’s voice and didn’t uncover them. You felt him lift you up, your head leaning to his shoulder as he carried you out of the room.
“Can I open them daddy?” you asked, wondering if you were safe.
“Not yet sweetie,” he said, not wanting you to see the destruction he had caused.
Once the two of you were safely in the car on the way back to the hideout he let you uncover your eyes. You opened and looked at him. He was dirty and had red stains on his clothes. You frowned.
“Daddy, why are you so dirty?” you asked. “Were you painting?” He smirked a little and chuckled.

Request: combing two requests, fluff with Jerome and the reader is a little slow and gets picked on and Jerome comes to protect them
You were always a little slow to understand things. You weren’t stupid, you knew that, but you sometimes took time to understand new concepts or to get things in order in your head. That’s why going to a small school with a group of circus children was particularly hellish, all them were loud and with no discipline nor were they accepting of people who were different and that’s what you were, different, an orphan who was picked up along the route and allowed to stay if you picked up the trash around the tents at night. You did this and while you were working you had made one friend, Jerome. He was different too, not an outsider but definitely someone the other kids stayed away from, but he was always kind to you and when you got to be in your teens he became your boyfriend.
It was only a few days after you started dating that one of the other boys in your class, along with two of his friends, approached you behind a tent at night while you were working. Jerome was supposed to come by at some point but he hadn’t appeared yet and now you were nervous and alone with these jerks. The leader approached and smirked.
“Hey there trash, having fun?” he asked, kicking the trash can you were filling over. You sighed and bit your lip. You weren’t a fighter, you didn’t like to hurt people. “Hey answer a question for me, what’s an idiot like you gonna do when we run this circus and we run you out?” You frowned and looked down.
“Jerome won’t let you,” you said softly. They laughed like you had said a joke.
“Ya, that freak ain’t gonna keep you around,” the leader said before he suddenly crumpled to the ground, Jerome behind him holding a bat.
“Now I think you guys should be leaving my baby alone,” he said, looking crazy and ready to hit someone else. The other two looked nervously at each other. “Or maybe, maybe you should clean up your mess.” He held up the bat, pointing it to the trash from the kicked over can. “Get picking up.” They didn’t move so he lifted the bat and hit one in the ribs. “I said MOVE!” Once they were cleaning up he took your hand and led you away to a more secluded place. “You alright?”
“Ya, just, I don’t understand why they hate me,” you said. He sighed, dropping the bat and pulling you close, kissing your head.
“Because they’re morons and don’t see what a treasure you are,” he said. He kissed you softly and hugged you close again. “I love you Y/N.”
Request: from several people, Jerome has a sweet and innocent daughter who likes to makes him flower crowns
Jerome Valeska was a man of chaos and insanity in almost all facets of his life. There was one part however, the most secret part of his life, a part he kept from nearly everyone he knew. He opened the door to the small apartment and smiled when his secret came running up to him, throwing her little arms around his leg and hugging it tightly. He leaned down and picked up the little girl, kissing her head. Her nanny came out and smiled at them before bidding him goodbye.
“I made you something daddy!” the little girl said, pulling on his hand desperately. He laughed and followed her into her bedroom and sat down on her bed while she went to her little desk. She picked up a crown made of fake flowers, pink and purple and yellow, and carried it over to him. Jerome smiled as he took the creation and looked it over.
“Its beautiful sweetheart,” he said, putting it on his head. The little girl clapped and giggled. This was Jerome’s happy time, the time he could think clearly and all the chaos of his life melted away. Right now with this angel he was just daddy and nothing more. He didn’t know how he ended up with such a sweet and innocent daughter but somehow he did. She showed no signs of insanity, no rage, rarely even any anger. She was just a sweet child who loved to make things and read books and watch movies about animals. And Jerome loved her more every single day.
“Would you wear it work daddy?” she asked. Jerome cocked an eyebrow and thought about it. Well wearing a flower on the heist tomorrow afternoon would be funny and he always loved a laugh. He nodded.
“Of course I will sweetheart!” he said. She hugged him around the neck and he kissed her cheek before tucking her into bed for the night.
The next day Jerome showed up for the heist, flower crown secured on his head. He was excited and honestly, he felt kind of beautiful in the crown, and he was ready. He led his men into the bank, the men following and looking slightly confused by his new attire. He ignored them and shot his gun into the air, commencing the start of the robbery. Once he was finished lining up the patrons of the bank he went and got all valuables and cash from them, bagging them up. There was a little girl next to her mother who looked up at him and smiled actually.
“I like your crown,” she said. He smiled back and thanked her before leaving the bank.
He returned home to the same greeting as yesterday, carrying his baby back to her room once again. He set her on her bed and smiled.
“I wore your crown to work today and another little girl liked it,” he told her. She smiled and clapped happily. “I love you sweetheart.”
Warnings: Mentions of violence, a seemingly sane Jerome
Request: Reader is Jerome’s daughter, based on Mockingbird by Eminem
Jerome sighed again as you clung to his leg, wanting your daddy to stay with you and chase off the monsters in your nightmares. He looked down at you, his sweet little girl, so young and innocent and not understanding him or his life or his mental state, or lack thereof. Your mother was in and out, only coming around when she felt like playing house for a while, the only reason Jerome didn’t kill her was because you loved her so much, even when she was gone, and he knew it would devastate you if he killed her.
“Daddy stay, please? Read me another story,” you begged, not letting him go. He took hold of your shoulders and pushed you back gently, stooping to be eye level with you. You looked like you were going to cry, lip shaking to hold back the tears.
“Come on, stiff upper lip dollface, you know I’m coming back to you soon. I gotta go, gotta get money so I can give you a good life, something daddy never got to have. Just remember what I always tell you…” he started, motioning for you to finish.
“You’re always with me, so don’t be scared the monsters are scared of you,” you said. Jerome nodded and smiled kissing you forehead. “Where’s mommy?” you asked. Jerome sighed and his fist clenched.
“I don’t know dollface, somewhere, probably wishing she was here with you where she should be,” he said. “I know you miss her but you know she ain’t a good mommy all the time. If you want I could get rid of her, find a new mommy for you.” You shook your head.
“No, I want my mommy, I want it to be like it used to be…” you cried a little, letting a few tears fall. Jerome leaned in and kissed your forehead again.
“I promise everything will get better soon and one day I’ll be here all the time. Daddy is gonna give you the whole world one day dollface and no one is gonna take it from ya or else they’ll have to deal with daddy and what happens when you deal with daddy?” he asked. You smiled, his same smile, looking a hair away from insanity.
Request: Jerome kidnaps the reader, gets bored, and decides to charm them
Jerome had been strapped for cash recently so he decided to take a kidnapping job to get some extra funds. Plus, kidnapping was always fun. At first. He had taken you two days ago and he still hadn’t heard from his client and he was getting a bit stir crazy. He paced the room he had you in, tied to a chair nearby, and kept glancing at you.
“How you doing tonight sweetness?” he asked, pulling up another chair to sit across from you. He pulled the tape from your mouth, making your face hurt. You didn’t answer, just glared at him. Your father would be furious about this and you couldn’t wait until he got his hands on this psycho, he would tear him to pieces. “Aww, you not talking to me? You couldn’t shut up before.” You continued to glare, annoyed at this whole situation.
“What do you even want with me? Don’t you just rob banks and shoot people in the face?” you asked, trying to yank against your binds again. Jerome smirked before full on laughing. You rolled your eyes, getting more aggravated.
“I do love shooting people in the face,” he said finally, wheezing in a breath. You rolled your eyes again. “They’re going to get stuck back there, and God knows I don’t want that to happen…they’re so pretty.”
“I’m not going to be charmed by the likes of you,” you said, looking straight at the red haired madman. He smirked even more and you sighed. Great he wasn’t going to give up.
“What? Am I not handsome enough for you? Too good for me?” he asked, standing up and pacing in front of you.
“You’re not unattractive physically but mentally you make want to vomit,” you replied. He stared at you for several minutes, getting into a stare down for dominance and you would be damned if he was going to win. You forced yourself to stare back, eyes getting watery from not blinking. Finally Jerome smirked and looked down at his hands. You didn’t let your guard down, figuring he was playing games with you, trying to give you a false sense of security and hope that you’d somehow won. He pulled his chair closer, his knees bumping yours and his face mere inches away. For looking like he was living on the streets or possibly in this room itself he smelled delicious. For a moment you considered teasing him a little, try to distract him and figure out how to use that to escape but the look in his eye told you that would be a bad idea.
“Want to play a game Y/N?” he asked, trying to read your expressions, wanting to charm you into submission. He wasn’t allowed to touch you, at least not cause you pain, or he wouldn’t get paid and at the moment he wanted cash more that to cause pain. That would pass if too much time went by but for now his mind was focused, get the cash and if you could get some fun times with you.
“What kind of game?” you asked, clearly skeptical of how ‘fun’ playing games with him would be. His eyes narrowed maliciously.
“Truth or dare,” he said. You swallowed hard, knowing that this was going to be bad, but what could you say? You were trapped with him and you honestly didn’t think much was keeping him from killing you.
“Ok then, Jerome…truth or dare?” you asked, trying to take charge of the game. He smirked, seeing through your attempts. O he liked you, you were a fighter, you were someone that didn’t like being contained or out of control. You didn’t like chaos. O he would love playing with you.
“Dare,” he said, wanting to see what you would make him do. Would you make him cut off a finger? Perhaps slit his own throat?
“I dare you to free me,” you said, watching for his reaction. He smiled a sickly sweet smile and stood up, pulling out a knife and cutting your hands free. He left your feet still tied to the chair. “I said free me…this is only halfway.”
“I’m a psychopath not an idiot. Your hands are free that’s enough for now dollface. So now Y/N, truth or dare?” he asked, playing with the knife, dancing it around his fingers. You considered trying to take it but one look at him and you knew that’s what he was expecting. You would play along, just a little longer.
“Truth,” you said, not really wanting to find out what dares he would have you do. His eyes lit up with amusement.
“Are you a virgin gorgeous?” he asked. You cocked an eyebrow, this was a relatively tame question. You just shook your head. He nodded.
“I’m not a virgin, haven’t been for a while. Now you, truth or dare,” you said. You played with your wrists, trying to get the feeling of rope burn to go away. He watched you for a moment, thinking.
“Truth,” he said. He wondered what kind of question he would get from you. Would it be something innocent and sweet, maybe something about his past, maybe…
“What turns you on?” you asked. That threw him for a loop. Why would she ask that? What kind of game was he playing? He didn’t know but he liked it. Maybe his charms were working on her finally. She was keeping him interested at least, he wouldn’t kill her yet.
“Well I like when things get a little out of hand…a little violent…it’s not what the person looks like, what gender they are, it’s how hot they would look a little bloody,” he said. You nodded slowly and smirked. “Truth or dare?”
“Dare,” you said. You could feel yourself getting into this, being drawn into him and whatever insanity was present in his mind. You didn’t want to be pulled in but it was almost involuntary. Almost.
“I dare you to kiss me,” he said. You swallowed hard. “And no sweet pecks on the cheek either I want a nice wet on the lips…with tongue.” You eyed him for a moment as he moved closer to you. He smirked and puckered up. You smirked back at him and was just about to lean in and kiss him when the room’s door opened and in barged detective Jim Gordon and the rest of the GCPD. They were on Jerome in a heartbeat, pulling him out of the chair and against the wall. You sat back, watching as he was cuffed and led out, smirking at you the entire time. You had almost kissed him, and you had wanted to and he knew it. He had won and you knew that you wouldn’t be the same now.

Jerome smirked at you, leaning against the door frame looking sexy and bright in his metallic gold mobster suit and hot pink fedora, matching your flapper dress. You smiled back at him, admiring the look.
"Well sir, you certainly look...hot," you said, pulling him in by the jacket collar and kissing him senseless. "So what're we doing tonight?" you asked. He smiled and pulled you out of the apartment and down the stairs, into the street.
"We're going to find some drunk fuckboys and kill them," he said, a menacing smile gracing his lips. Your eyes lit up with an insane delight. "On my way one of them called me a faggot, I think that warrants some bloodletting." You nodded. You didn't really know Jerome's full sexuality but that didn't matter, calling someone a faggot deserved a fucking gutting.
The two of you bounced down the street, holding tight to the switchblades that you carried, skipping arm in arm. It didn't take long for some drunk asshat to say something about the two of you. You didn't understand why the guy called you a cunt but Jerome wasn't having that. You both smiled wickedly at each other before going on either side of the lush and linking arms, skipping with him stumbling into an alley. Once there Jerome shoved him against the wall and his demeanor changed from harmless fun to deadly rage and insanity.
"What did you say to Y/N?" he asked the guy. The guy smirked, clearly not afraid of the skinny ginger and his lover.
"I called them a cunt because that's all they're worth," he said, moving to push off the wall. Jerome shoved him back, shaking his head. "What faggot? You gonna punch me?" he asked. Jerome shook his head, starting to laugh that crazy laugh.
"Nope, sorry wrong answer! I'm afraid that means we have to spill your intestines!" he said. The guy's eyes widened in sudden fear and you smirked, watching gleefully as Jerome ripped the guy's belly open with his blade. "Care for a shot Y/N?" he asked. You nodded. You walked up, watching for a moment as the guy tried to hold in his guts. Eh, you wanted blood, so you sliced his neck, hitting an artery and watching it spurt for a few moments before looking at Jerome.
"That's so hot baby, can we kill another one?" you asked, wanting to get good and ready for a long hot fuck session with the crazy Jerome. He smirked and nodded, skipping off with you to kill someone else with just as much ferocity.
Warnings: mostly fluffy, the word rape is used once, violence (its Jerome c'mon people)
Note: this a combo to the request: what would happen if someone threatened the reader and a fluffy one shot with Jerome. Also its being sent from my phone so sorry its not as pretty as usual!
Disclaimer: the song I used is by Smallpools called ‘Streetfight’ and I thought it would be pretty in character for him to sing such a song while beating a guy haha
The circus provided a lot of down time during the day for Jerome. He liked this time, his mother was sleeping off her last night out and he was free to do anything he wanted, including going into Gotham and seeing the sights or finding some trouble to get into. This was how he met you. He was wandering the streets, looking to see what kinds of antics he could produce when he watched you pickpocket some rich loser, walking away with his wallet. He smirked and approached, noticing the guy look around and spot you. Before he could follow you Jerome waltzed up and put an arm around your shoulders.
“Hey what…” you started but he put a finger to his lips to stop you.
“That guy noticed you, I’m just trying to be some back up for you,” he said, sending you a smirk. You glanced back enough to see the guy watching, clearly debating whether to go after you or not, glancing at Jerome. He finally decided not to and just pulled out his phone, probably to cancel all his credit cards. You looked at Jerome who still had a large, almost too large, smile on his face.
“Uh, thanks I guess?” you said. You steered the two of you into an alley and opened the wallet, pulling out a couple hundred dollars. You grabbed fifty of it and held it out to Jerome. He shook his head.
“No thanks gorgeous, you keep it. Knowing your pretty face is safe is reward enough,” he said. You blushed some at the words. You lived on the streets and people would make comments all the time, catcalls and the like, but his words were an actual compliment and that was something rare. “So, care to spend the afternoon spending that money?“ This brought a smile to your face.
“Sure, let’s get lunch, I’m starving,” you said. Jerome smiled and offered his arm to you. You took it, returning his smile and headed down the street to a diner. He held the door for you and you took a booth in the corner. He sat across from you and once you had menus he spoke again.
“So, you come this way often?” he asked, throwing you a cheesy grin. You laughed and looked at the menu.
“I live behind the dumpster of this place,” you admitted, trying to gauge his reaction. His eyes clouded a bit but the smile stayed.
“You don’t have a roof?” he asked, voice now soft, calculated in the way he formed the words. You nodded, still watching him critically. His smile fell away and now he looked solemn. “Well then I guess tonight you will have company. The streets are a rough place, can’t have you spending one more night alone on them.“ You blinked, having not expected that answer.
"I’ve been on the streets for years, uh, wow, I never got your name,” you said, realizing that you had connected with this guy and you didn’t even know his name. His smile returned.
“Name’s Jerome Valeska,” he introduced, offering his hand. You took it and nodded. “And you are?” he asked, pulling your hand to his mouth and kissing your knuckle softly.
“Y/N” you replied, cheeks once again reddening from his actions. “It’s nice to meet you Jerome, and really you don’t have to protect me, I’ve been on the streets for years now and I’ve gotten by just fine." He cocked an eyebrow and smirked.
"Then I’ll just come to keep you company,” he said. “I’m not busy." You then realized that it wasn’t really a question, he was coming whether you agreed or not.
"I hope you don’t expect anything to happen,” you said, throwing him a menacing look. If he thought he was going to come around to ‘protect’ you and get anything out of it he was dead wrong. He held up his hands in surrender and smiled.
“O dear, I may be a little demanding but I’d never demand that much,” he said. “Plus, it’s no fun unless you want it." He winked at you and you felt yourself blush again. His smirked only grew bigger when he noticed. You turned the conversation towards his life then, eating while chatting about his mother and the circus and how honestly fascinating it all was.
After you both had eaten and paid he stood, offering his arm once again. You took it and exited the diner and turned down a random street. His arm dropped and you were a bit disappointed until he instead laced his fingers with yours, holding your hand tight in his.
"Show me where you live,” he said. “I need to be able to find it later." You swallowed, embarrassed but led him behind the diner to the alley where you and few others called home. There was a dumpster and a trashcan for fires and you have a cozy little area set up in a crevice under an awning. It was big enough for the two of you to sit shoulder to shoulder and you sat down, him following. You couldn’t lie, he was closer than you normally liked people to be but with him you liked it. He looked around from where he sat and shrugged.
"It’s not much I know,” you said, still feeling a little pathetic. He shrugged again and smiled.
“Not bad, I mean, I live in a trailer with a giant snake and a drunken whore mother so, this feels a bit like a free paradise,” he said. You looked at him and nodded, staring at each other for a minute. “I think I’m going to kiss you now Y/N." You watched him for a second before nodding. He leaned in and kissed you, soft at first, a hand cupping your cheek, before the kiss got deeper and a little rough. You didn’t mind, it was actually thrilling to be kissed this way and we you parted, breathing labored, you wanted him to do it again. He looked at his watch and swore.
"What?” you asked. He looked at you and then back at his watch, thinking.
“I have to go, get the snake and mother ready for tonight. I’ll come back right after the show,” he said. You nodded, smiling at him. He kissed you again, sweet and short before running off.
It was near ten by now and Jerome still hadn’t come back. You decided he probably wasn’t going to show back up and tried to hide your disappointment as you stood by the fire and warmed yourself. For the moment you were alone, the others who were normally there had gone off to find food or drink or whatever else they desired. You heard someone coming and glanced down the alley, seeing someone new. This wasn’t a rare thing, some people passed through during the night so you ignored him as he stood by the fire also. He was big and burly and looked a little drunk, smelling like a liquor store. He took a side-step closer to you and you stepped away. He took another step closer. Just as you were about to take off and run his large hand wrapped around your elbow and he pushed you into the wall.
“Going somewhere sweetheart?” he asked, pressing against you, leaning in to smell your hair. You shook a little and tried to kick but the way he leaned your legs were locked under his own. You opened your mouth to scream but his hand clamped over it. “O no, there will be plenty of that later,” he snarled, other hand gripping your wrist. You were shaking and almost didn’t hear the other voice.
“Hey!” it cried, followed by footsteps. The next thing you knew the guy was off you and laying on the ground, huffing some at being knocked off his feet. Jerome stood in front of you, his face sporting a livid look. His eyes were on fire and he produced a switchblade from his pants pocket. He looked over at you. “Are you alright?”
“Ya, I think so,” you answered, holding your arm. The guy was just standing up when Jerome noticed the bruising on your wrist. His eyes flashed to your wrist and then to the guy. The assailant was panting, looking ready to fight. Jerome was looking around and then his face twisted into an insane smile. He pulled a long stick from the fire, holding it up.
“So I heard a song today, I think I’ll sing it to you Y/N,” he said. The guy moved forward and Jerome swung, hitting him in the face with the burning end of the stick. You were shocked but in a way pleased. This guy was going to rape you if Jerome hadn’t come along and now he was getting punished. Jerome smirked at you and in a voice strangely well suited to song, sang “you’re caught in a streetfight,” another smack to the guy in the back, “I’ll be your lifeline,” a kick to the ribs, “go on and use me,” a sickening smack to the man’s back again, “I’ll be your Bruce Lee." Finally Jerome kicked the guy in the head, knocking him out cold.
"Um, that was nice,” you said, staring at his handy work both shocked and impressed. It appeared Jerome wasn’t done singing. He turned the guy over and did something you couldn’t see with the knife to his face before turning to you, knife bloody in his hand and ‘Rapist’ carved into the man’s forehead.
“Under the streetlights, I’ll wait a lifetime, just like the movies, I’ll be your Bruce Lee,” he sang, doing a little dance as he approached you. You smiled at him and he moved over to you, taking your face in his clean hand and kissing you again, soft and then rough, smiling through the whole thing.
