Day 16 word count: 1640/49261.
I would have finished today, except I ended up going to see ‘Girl on the train’ with a friend. Definitely going to finish tomorrow though :)
Something non spoilerly that I wrote:
Wanda put an arm around his shoulders, and Clint rested his head on her shoulder, smiling slightly at the move. “You have been the best friend though.”
“Oh, I think you are best to not let Kate hear you say that,” Wanda replied with a smile, before considering the sentence with a tilt to her head. “Or Natasha.”
Clint shrugged as best as he could from his position. “Nah, do not worry about Natasha. Nat already heard me. She hears everything.”
“I suppose that that makes up for the fact that you hear nothing,” Wanda considered. Clint frowned, sitting up and looking around, before focusing back on Wanda.
“I am sorry, did you say something?” Clint cupped a hand around one of his ears. “I do not think that I heard you. You will have to speak up, I am deaf you know.”
Wanda pushed at Clint’s shoulder, laughing. “You are a strange old man.”
“So old,” Clint agreed with a smile, resuming his position of resting his head on Wanda’s shoulder. “I am deaf, I wear glasses to read, I am so old.”
“Do not forget that your significant other is almost a hundred years old,” Wanda said around a laugh.
Clint joined in with Wanda’s laughter, closing his eyes as he did so. “So old. I am such an old man.”
Day 15 word count: 5180/47421. Only 2579 to go! The end is so in sight. According to the website, I only need to write 645 words/day to reach my goal. It’ll happen :) Today was about how Clint was rescued by Lucky.
“Your dog is a fighter, Mr Barton. He made it through the surgery much better than expected.”
Clint laughed slightly nervously, looking up at James from his position on the floor of the clinic. James shrugged his shoulders; he was sitting on a chair..
Clint turned back to the dog, rubbing behind his ear.
(there is more under the cut)
Day 14 word count: 2051/42241. I’m getting there. The end is in sight, and i have plans. Unfortunately, today was another day which had a lot of spoilerly writing. Below is the least spoilerly of the lot. “You know, this is nice,” Clint nodded as he looked down at the streets below them. “We never get to hang out together anymore.” Kate frowned at him, adjusting her gloves. “Yeah? And whose fault is that? Mister ‘I am now a hot shot Avenger man’.” Clint rolled his eyes, shaking his head. “Kate, Kate, I have been an Avenger since before you knew me.” “Wrong, Barton. You were not an Avenger when we met.” “Fine, fine. I admit it. When you met me,” Clint put a hand to his forehead, posing dramatically. “I was a sad, lost, confused old man. It was only when I met you that I found my life’s true calling.” Kate could not stop her smile, shaking her head and pushing at Clint’s shoulder. “What on earth, old man. Besides, I am pretty sure that you were still a sad, lost, confused old man until James came along.” Clint smiled, sighing nostalgically. “Yeah, you might be right about that, Hawkeye.” Kate bumped her shoulder against Clint’s shoulder. “You know it Hawkeye.”
Day 13 word count: 2295/40190 Less than 10K to go now :) The finish line is in sight. And again, I cannot share anything I wrote today. Much too spoilerly. Sorry.

Day 12: 2097/37895.
I’m gonna write a lot tomorrow, I think. Today was focused on one of those wonderful side ships that ALWAYS take me by surprise. I never plan them, but every time, they end up happening.
So I present some of what I wrote today:
“I need to apologise.”
Daisy looked over her shoulder; Wanda was staring at the table under her hands.
“What is up?” Daisy asked, turning back around to finish making the hot chocolates. Wanda remained silent, only looking up to accept her hot chocolate.
“Thank you,” Wanda smiled, before looking down into her hot chocolate. “I am afraid that I have not been a very good girlfriend in recent times.”

Day 11 word count: 2465/35798
Not a bad day. I'm now working without a script; I've written up everything I had pre planned. Bring on the angst!
Word Count: 3536/33316 I see how close I am to 33333. So I go and write some more. 3553/33333. So today’s writing was based After. Therefore, I can’t share anything that isn’t completely spoilerly. Instead, have a preview of the next chapter of ‘I don’t wanna date anyone’. Because I wrote 1858 words for that today.
“Good morning James. Coffee?”
James blinked at the cup being offered to him. “What?”
Jan smiled, making sure that James took the cup before reaching for her own. “You’re dating Clint; you’re gonna be a fan of coffee. Come sit down.”
