I’m gonna answer this publicly since I was going to write a post about it soon anyways.
I’ve been talking to 2 guys on there for like a week maybe. They both seem pretty cool. We have quite a few similar interests, they seem like motivated people, cute, funny-ish…although I find that difficult to really judge via text. If they are talking to me I assume they are both at least a little bit interested in me so that’s sweet since no one is ever interested in me in that way. Like never.
One guy wants to go get coffee sometime next week. So that’s terrifying. I actually have so much anxiety about it because I’ve never dated anyone, nor have I been on a date. What if it’s super awkward? What if he doesn’t like me? What if he doesn’t think I’m cute irl? Or think I’m fat? Or a million other things! I’ll go, but sweet jesus, the thought scares me so much that I want to vomit. Gotta face those fears though and step out of my comfort zone because other wise what’s the point? May as well just buy a bunch of cats and dogs and be alone forever.
Other than those two little conversations, there are some pretty creepy messages. I have a couple funny ones I’ll probably post at some point.
All in all, the whole thing makes me extremely uncomfortable, but I’m the one who decided to give it a shot so I just try to keep reminding myself “what have you got to lose!?”
