rewatching community and there’s no way these two didn’t date or at least fuck. the only person who truly sees through jeff’s bs is duncan. britta sort of gets it, but duncan is able to have jeff’s car for a while, until jeff notices that the folder has no test answers. this sort of thing is only done again in the show when people know jeff super well. also more importantly it is revealed later that jeff’s phone has the names he puts in when he meets someone, and he doesn’t know who’s who. every time duncan calls him or texts him, jeff doesn’t know who it is because it’s a hook up name.
