The new children! They are pygmy panther geckos, Paroedura androyensis. Theyâre not a hands-on species, really, seeing as thatâs how big they get. Theyâre from Madagascar, and their names are Necrolemur (the male, Cro for short) and Djebelemur (the female, Jeebles to her friends). Theyâre a nocturnal species and extremely fun to watch.

@suns-abs your first encounter in every campaign I ever make from now on will just be a swarm of crabs. youâre in a spooky forest? doesnât matter, forest crabs. in a castle aiding a noble? doesnât matter, castle crabs.

I have mixed feelings about it, leaning towards quite positive. I wish it wasnât so thick, but at the same time, itâs a really fantastic water management system. These two donât drink from a water dish, and the foam backdropâs designed to actually retain water- itâs spongy- so it keeps the tank more humid and they lick it to drink.
Well, at least Cro does. Iâve seen him doing it a couple times. Donât know if Jeebles quite has it figured out yet.Â
It also is very easy to grow epiphytes in/on.Â
