Jeb: i hope to be half the man you are some day
Bailey: you’re gonna have to up your protein intake quite a bit, maybe start doing some squats, something like—
Bailey: oh, you mean metaphorically
Jeb: How many drinks of alcohol do you have each week?
Bailey: One.
Jeb: That's it? One drink?
Bailey: One shelf.
Jeb: Can't you see i am in distress? What kind of a friend are you?
Dean: Look, i am not the friend you call up when you need a shoulder to cry on. I am the friend you call when you need a death to look like an accident.
Bailey [holding an empty cookie box]: How many did you eat roughly?
Jeb: I ate them gently.

Jebediah Abrams was born to a teenage couple along with his twin brother, and lived in East London. Both kids were ignorant of the debt that their parents frequently found themselves in, despite being in one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the city.
Edward himself had always been controlling. As a teenager, it began with knowing who his girlfriend was talking to at all times and making sure she was dressed the way he wanted her to be. He’d occasionally get violent, but it wasn’t enough for Abigail to think there was something seriously wrong. She refused to believe that the love of her life was in any way abusive, even when it started happening to her kids.
Their dad received a promotion at the auto-repair company that he had been working for since Abigail had gotten pregnant, along with the demand that he must relocate to one of the premises in the US. Since Jeb and his brother’s grandparents had moved to just outside Chicago only a few months before, they chose to join them, living in the city instead of Muddy Waters.
Throughout their schooling, however, the boys’ truancy and behaviour had been far from satisfactory. Jeb would do anything that would let him not do any work whatsoever, whether it be running around the classroom or refusing to stop talking to whoever was near him. While his brother seemed to take out his feelings through anger, he would try to think about them as little as possible. The move had made both of their behaviour unbearable, and, by this point, they didn’t care much about their parents - mostly because they didn’t seem to care much about them. Concerned about the their home environment after a short interview with both boys, they were removed by CPS from the care of their parents when they were 11 years old, and placed into the hands of their grandparents. It didn’t help anyone, though. Jeremiah became more violent than he already was, and Jeb’s behaviour only escalated.
Jeb and his brother, along with their shared group of friends, committed petty crime after petty crime. They mainly stuck to theft and disorderly conduct, so they only got a couple of months for the two of them. That was, until, Jeremiah got into a drunken brawl and got three years when he was 17. Jeb was about to take the fall for it, but then his grandma stopped him from doing so.
Shortly afterwards, Jeb found out that he was going to be a father. It was with his girlfriend, who he is still partly in a relationship with. Thankfully, Jeb had graduated high school by the time Teddy was born, however due to his appalling track and criminal record, was unable to get a job. That was where the Northside Rascals came in.
Like everyone in Muddy Waters, Jeb had known about the Northside Rascals since he arrived after moving in with his grandma. The tales of the two clashing gangs played in the streets around them, and he had become encaptured in the gang life. He hadn’t, however, began to seriously think about joining until it became apparent that he wasn’t going to get a job anytime soon, and things started to become desperate when his grandma began showing signs of falling into the same debt his parents had found themselves in. With not only his own but his son’s mouth to feed, it was either joining the gang or nothing.

You wouldn’t know of Jeb’s past if he hadn’t told you, nor would you think that he was in a gang. Some may call his personality optimistic, others would say he’s just plain annoying. Jeb just likes to get some sort of a reaction out of people, and if that means making someone angry, then so be it. It was one of the reasons that he got into so much trouble as a kid - he would mess around with someone until they got angry.
Jeb is also extremely easily manipulated. He knows right from wrong, but if someone that he looked up to told him to do something, even he knew it was wrong, he’d do it in a heartbeat. His brother would’ve taken advantage of this a lot - if he didn’t get into trouble for something, he would make Jeb do it, or at the very least take the blame for it, which he got away with, considering they were identical twins.
Although he is optimistic, Jeb is prone to mood swings. Because he doesn’t tend to face up to his feelings and avoids them as much as possible, they tend to all come out at once, and often while he was drunk. For this reason, he can be pretty unpredictable while intoxicated, and the slightest thing can send him over the edge.
Overall, however, Jeb is very lovable. He loves to put a smile on people’s faces, and he is always there for people he loves. He is very loyal and will do anything for anyone, including the gang.
