Yes, but not right off the bat. It takes her some time to warm up to people, and even more time to get used to physical affection, bur once she's comfortable with you she'll curl up into your side in the tightest little ball and lay her head on your shoulder

She's watched her father go through several marriages, and seen both of her brother's marriages fail. It's not something she's interested in, but she'd be down for matching rings or something to show commitment

While she may come off as slightly awkward and stand-offish at first, she is the most gentle soul, especially if you're having a rough day

Not very often, more in social settings like family gatherings where it's expected type of thing, though she'll never deny you one if you ask. Her hugs are very firm, the kind that let you know she's present with you in that moment

Pretty good actually, considering her summer camp counsellor experiences and various nieces and nephews. Also being the eldest girl she was most often left to babysit all the kids. She likes kids, but has no desire to have any of her own

Trying to get her out of bed 🤣 She's never been a morning person, so you're usually trying to lure her out with some fresh coffee and toasted bagels from her favorite bakery (and maybe the promise of a few kisses after breakfast)

If it's a day she's worked, usually just snuggled on the couch after dinner, watching a movie or reading books. If it's the weekend she loves going to museums or out for dinner, and in the summer you'll often go for walks in central park to see all the local talent and attractions

She's definitely a slow reveal type of gal. It takes time for her to trust people, but once she does she trusts fully and openly

Look, this woman has the patience of a SAINT. All the shit she's dealt with her family over the years, she's usually pretty calm and collected. However, when it comes to anyone messing with you or her loved ones, her shoulders go up and her patience is thin af

She's got a sharp memory, and always remembers the smallest of details about you, often surprising you as you don't even remember mentioning it half the time

Probably when she's coming back to the living room one evening, glasses of wine in hand, and she stops to admire you on her couch, realizing just how at home you look and how right it feels to have you there (this is the same night she asks you to move in)

As mentioned above, she's not really the confrontational type but she Does Not Stand for someone messing around with you or her family. Even if her hands shake, she'll stare down whoever she has to to make you feel safe. It also makes her weak in the knees when you stand up for her, especially against her father

The most effort, she really enjoys celebrating special holidays, even cheesy ones like "first kiss" or "first date". She always orders your favorite takeout, or if it's something like an anniversary she'll make reservations at a nice restaurant, most likely one you have fond memories at

She's got some deep-seated self confidence issues, which can lead to her pulling away from you/seeming distant because she's afraid of losing you. Very much a "I'll leave you before you leave me" type of situation. She also loves her family to a fault sometimes, and it can cause you to get into tiffs over it as you don't like seeing her being ignored/mistreated so often

She always looks put together if she's going out, and cares about her hygiene, but she's not vain in the slightest and likes her personal style as it is, even if it isn't "fashionable"

She's worked very hard to be independent, but if she truly falls in love with you she would be devastated if you left her. You fill a hole in her life she wasn't even fully aware of until she met you

She's a big Jazz fan, and also loves some good classical to wind down after a long day. She also loves Alanis Morissette, esp when she's a little tipsy

She makes little films for her coworkers birthdays, and she also enjoys crocheting stuffed animals, caps, and scarves for the local children's hospital
7) Their happiest memory
When she, Danny, and Matt were younger, they walked from their dad's house to the local convenience store, just to get out of the house. Jean always smiles when she thinks of them walking home in the streetlights, devouring candy and pop and laughing into the night

She's had quite a few, being a lil awkward bean, so it's hard for her to pick one out specifically 🤣
9) A cute best friend moment
Jean was never really great at making friends, but in the fifth grade a new girl moved to their school and attached herself to Jean right away. They spent the year having sleepovers, sharing lunches, going to the arcade... honestly it was one of the best years of Jean's childhood. Before the schoolyear ended New Girl made them matching friendship bracelets, and made Jean promise they would keep in touch over the summer.
To this day they are still best friends, and Jean keeps the bracelet wrapped around the base of her lamp on her nightstand
10) Their best childhood memory
Swimming in the ocean for the first time. She can still remember how the water drowned out the sounds of the kids around her, and how weightless she felt as she float along the surface under the sun

Jean is... full of awkward moments 🤣 Especially more in her youth

She has a scar on her knee from her camp counselor days, but other than that not much

Being such a people pleaser, and putting herself last for the first half of her life

Not having autonomy over her life/being completely dependent on someone else

Chewing her nails and picking at her cuticles. She tried to paint them once for her brother's wedding but she got super nervous and ended up having to hide her hands in all the photos

She really enjoys meditative sound baths, or a good cup of tea and a book. If her brain is going nuts and won't shut off, she'll drown out her thoughts with a pair of headphones and blaring music

She really doesn't have nightmares all that often, in fact she doesn't really dream at all. If she does have a nightmare, she'll turn a light on, have a drink of water, and maybe read a quick chapter of her latest book to distract her brain before falling back asleep

The friendship bracelet from New Girl, and a drawing one of her camp kids made for her that still hangs on her fridge

Brooches! She loves to hit up second-hand or antique shops to find new and weird brooches for her coats/sweaters

She keeps all of the birthday cards she's ever gotten from her Mom and brothers, tucked away into a small box in the top of her closet. When she's having a rough day she'll pull them down and read through them, even if they've only signed it, even if she has them all memorized by heart

Nada, she tried Italian for a previous girlfriend of hers, but she couldn't quite get the hang of it

Curled up on the couch, one of her favorite movies on while she crochets

Both! She's quite good at sketching, especially portraits, and she's prone to sketching random people on the subway or in the park. She also enjoys writing, but privately, like in a journal (though she has been known to write a poem or two for her lovers 😏)
