Jealux’s monarch has an incredibly tight knit circle of close advisors. Of these elites, there are two who are closest to the Monarch herself - her High Judge, and her Executioner.
Maximillienne Lachapelle is known as one of the Lachapelle Orphanages’ success stories. The daughter of the Madame herself, Maximillienne is often used as an example of how well the Orphanages treat their children and prepare them for society.
If only they knew the truth.

Her Majesty, the Monarch of Jealux, Marcelline Antoinette, is the ruler of Jealux. With an absolute faith in the word of her court, Marcelline is often seen flitting about social circles and attending various gatherings, such as operas and parties. Seen in close companionship with both her Executioner and High Judge, it’s hard not to make talk of Jealux’s darling.
Her court tells her she is doing well - keeping her people motivated, happy. She has much influence on their work.
If only her naïveté weren’t so reckless - if only she knew. Maybe, then, the dark underbelly and reckless endangerment of Jealux’s reputation among the Golden Pass and beyond would have been avoided entirely.

A well-respected general of the Sylosian Army, Rastmus is well-known among the soldiers for his perfectionism, inability to do anything other than work, and his strict adherence to rules and regulations. There is little he wouldn’t do to ensure the safety of Sylosia, and ensuring he is in the best place to act out the city’s best interests. His past, as well as how he arrived in Sylosia, is little known. However, it is known that he was promoted internally, from a grunt knight to a respected General.
