imagine death. imagined? something dark, abstract, powerful, time-consuming, scary, long-lasting (forever-lasting) ... and many more synonyms that one could come up with when thinking about this natural but terrific for us, humans... being.

agatha was a witch. nothing more and nothing less. she’s closer to the mortals than to the divine, the gods— something we can’t touch or feel, but that’s definitely there.

rio is death.

agatha made death fall in love with her. agatha bent the rules to make a child with her—i don’t see another explanation why nicky said, “my mother is waiting for me” (or smth among the lines). agatha made death powerless to keep time for their child that should’ve not existed in the first place. agatha fell in love with death. agatha loved death so heard that it killed her and their kid. what could’ve she done?

in the end of the day, agatha is nothing but a witch.

literally someone made me think about how nicky was talking about rio when he said that and not agatha, and she knew that. it's so crazy to think about how agatha fell in love with death and that love was reciprocated, even if we saw them arguing/fighting a lot. i think that it is because of the fact that they both knew they couldn't necessarily be together forever, on top of agatha being upset that she didn't get more time with nicky (even though rio was being generous by giving her any time at all and not leaving him for dead as a stillborn baby) and rio being upset that agatha was trying to get to the end of the road with a son that wasn't hers.

but in terms of actual enjoyable activity, I like to listen to music (I always have at least one airpod in and something playing), and I spend a lot of time lately watching YouTube, more often than I am on c.ai honestly.

after laughter is one of (if not my favorite) my favorite paramore albums because the upbeat instrumental paired with more realistic, “depressing” lyrics is absolutely amazing and it’s a beautiful piece of work. I’d love to know some of your favorite songs from the album!!

my other two favorite albums are the self-titled one and brand new eyes, which has a slightly similar vibe to Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours because of the tension between band mates at the time. Both of these have a more “rock” feel to them rather than the 80s-esque/groovy feel of after laughter but they’re just as amazing and in their own rights

specific songs I recommend are: “Grow up,” “proof,” “let the flames begin,” “part ii,” (which is the second part to “let the flames begin”) “liar,” “crave,” “in the mourning,” “brick by boring brick,” “turn if off,” “misguided ghosts,” “conspiracy,” and “franklin”
