One good thing about teeny, tiny seashells? They didn't take up a lot of space. Jason had made it a habit of searching for them in the sand whenever he spent time at the beach, and then keeping them in jars, easy little decorations for the summer time. Even if summer would soon be fading away, he delighted in each little find, crouching down to pluck a tiny piece of sea glass from the sand and grinning, examining it closely before seeing someone else walking nearby. "Kind of amazing how this gets made, isn't it?"

WHERE: The Pink Gala; Paradise Gardens.

WHEN: July 23, 2022.

There was nothing about this event that didn’t appeal to Josh -- the setting, the fashion, the people, the cause that they were raising money for: all of it seemed just right as he stood near one of the refreshment tables, looking up at a tall trellis, trailing with pink and yellow roses. As he saw someone approach, he held his drink up as a symbol of ‘cheers’ before offering a friendly smile. “You look great tonight, Jayla, have you been enjoying yourself?”

After bonding with each other over s'mores at the Newman's wedding, the least Jaz could do to repay the favor was join Jayla at the rink. Whether or not she was going to join in the skating part of it all was a different story. "Y'know, I get that it's fun for people to come dressed up in costumes, but I feel like too many don't think about the practicality of them." You definitely wouldn't catch her in something here that was too restricting or that would get caught in her or someone else's wheels. Her own outfit was just her regular clothing, explained away as being 'a superhero on their day off, dressing up as her.'
