Short Answer: Yes, the entire fic will need to be completed.

Long Answer: I’m going to use the Original Trilogy because I am a nerd. But it’s like this. If you were going to write the entire story of Star Wars, we’d ask that you complete it. However, you could break it into three parts (Ep 4, 5, and 6) and complete just Episode 4. In other words, your story should have a solid ending so that fans can enjoy it as being “complete”, but then you write more parts later like in a series. So for your 150k fic, you could write 50k (example number), letting your fic have a decent enough “ending” and that would be good enough for the Big Bang. Then in the future you write the next part of the series (not for the Big Bang). 

Evan’drien

1) What’s something your character would be embarrassed for others to find out about?

There’s a lot Evan tried to keep private, most of it to do with the horrors he committed as part of the scourge which he still feels responsible for. Probably the biggest thing he hides is his ex lover Alyssa. It was an extremely unhealthy relationship that they had, and it ended with Evan believing he was truly a heartless beast, and truly beyond redemption. He’s struggled to recover from it, but he always fears that someone will learn of it, or have an account of it from her and that it will colour their view of him.

6) Name one item that your character doesn’t use for its intended purpose.

His bed. Being undead, he doesn’t actually need to sleep at all, though still in extreme circumstances suffers from enough physical fatigue that he does so anyway, more as a placebo than anything. Usually though his bed is there for dumping his stuff on, or for Tanir to use. Of course it does get some use..

9) Give an example of a thought your character would be embarrassed for someone else to hear. 

Ahahah oh god, so many, pretty much her entire inner monologue but one specific example? At the moment I’d say her thoughts about her impending child. She genuinely wants it, but after so many failed attempts and disappointments she often finds herself thinking some very dark thoughts, like, perhaps she should terminate the thing before anyone finds out about it. Not only because she is pessimistic about the child surviving, but also because a pregnancy will take her out of active duty, which she loathes to think about since her crew are her life. Of course she would never, she wants a child too much, but still her mind wanders to some awful places.

11) Name a part of their body that your character is really proud of or really likes.

2. Are there any triggers that make them cry, tear up?

Taeonthrial: Tae doesn’t really have any, but someone she cares about getting hurt would definitely upset her. Like, in the future when Taegann and Tulav are presumed drowned she’ll become a shell of herself, unable to function properly and will give up all her resistance to Khalinds advances.

Adolphus: Talador orchids, or nagrand cherry pie. Her father used to grow the orchids for her mother, and her mother made the most wonderful cherry pie. She can’t be near either without freezing up and being right back in Shattrath that day.

21. Is there a race of the opposite faction they harbor especially deep hatred for?

Taeonthrial: Not really! As a druid, she was taught to accept all races and factions. She’s not fond of naga, though. But then, what would you expect from a naga hunting pirate ship?

Adolphus: Orcs, she absolutely hates orcs. She was there when they sacked Shattrath and she lost her family there. She’s never forgiven them.

27. Describe their morning routine.

Taeonthrial: Tae has three depending on how she slept.

1 - alone: Gets up, brushes her teeth/hair and gets ready to work for the day. Reports to Khalind first thing for her daily orders, makes sure nothing new has come in that desperately needs attending to.

2 - Tul sleeps in her bed: wakes up early just so she can have some time cuddling him, is usually trapped under his arm. Eventually gets up and does all of step 1 whilst Tul sneaks out.

3 - Tae sleeps in Tul’s hammock: tries not to fall off Tul and on to the floor, wakes up early to cuddle, carefully sneaks back into her room and does all of step 1.

Why they don’t get caught? *magic*

Adolphus: Ad HATES the mornings. Absolutely hates them. Usually has to be woken up several times before she’ll actually get up. Sulks for the first two hours of the day, is vicious until someone hands her a mug of coffee and some food.
