meanwhile Bence: skittish giant, runs and hisses at the sight of any movement
Alfonsine: moves
she tries to mate with him every night, and he's terrified of her, hiding away in their little swing, and she won't give up, she keeps pointing her butt at him and hissing
now they're in two separate tanks until I either get them a big tank and try to carefully resocialize them or I figure out how to make Bence less anxious
