When i was online for the tvd viewing party i just realized how unique the LOST fandom was...
since to my surprise they weren't as many people on like i thought there would be. Even if Tumblr and FF crashed for some minutes with LOST on now tumblr would be gone 24/7. and it could entirely be my fault
And then with Delena i was shocked about the lack of people. With Jate action we finished like 5 threads on a night and their scenes didn't even had bloodsharing or gorgeous head touched or comforting scenes.. in season 6 we were lucky to get a "hi" or a look and we were flipping.
This is no post against the TVD fandom, since i do love it, but I just wanted to point out how awesome the LOST fandom was/is and my Jaters.

What Lost really mean to me ...
Today is May 23th of 2012. I´ve been waiting these day since May 24th of 2011 and I will never forget this day for the rest of my life, not because it was THE END of LOST by itself, I´ve learn how to survive with a new episode of Lost, I´ve learnt... but is because a day like this I was with 15 Losties in my house, and I didn´t knew in person 3/4 of them ,1/4 were even from another city, they were strangers to me but we organized this amazing day with a barbecue in my house and at some point of the night (after getting to know each other) we seated down in the sofa until 6 am watching the most amazing TV show ever made. It wasn´t about the show... no, it was about being with people with your same crazy interest and share the moment when finally the screen went black after 6 years, and we were all distroyed and crying, some people was freaking out because of the final , but we were together and I believe that´s exactly what this TV show is about for me. I found in this fandom one of my best friends and a bunch of people who I still keep in touch and we care about each other.
Lost gave me the best time of my young life, THE BEST and I will be eternally gratefull for knowing the CRAZY JATERS that I love so much :) cause this girls rise my mood every day for several years and they keep doing it until today :)
I will never forget Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer, Juliet,Sayid, Locke, Vincent, Walt, Ana lucia, Desmond, Penny, CHarlie , Claire, Rousseau, Ben, Michael, Libby, Richard Alpert, Alex,Karl, Jin, Sun, Jacob, Christian Shepard, Rose, Bernard, Ecko, MIB, Boone,Shanon, Aaron, FRank Lapidus, Miles, Nikki, Paulo, Arzt, etc, Because the show was about THEM, not about THE ISLAND :)
PS: And thanks to Lost that forced me to read and talk the english language :B
PS2: WE have to go back Losties, We have to go baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!
who remember? \o

Day 6: Favorite Scene of All-Time - Through the Looking Glass final scene.
So many choices for today, but it always came back to this one. Not only is this scene beautifully written, and acted...not only is this scene accompanied by Michael Giacchino's amazing score...but it also was a moment of monumental change and utter shock for every fan of Lost.
Up until this moment, the show had been all about telling us who these characters are through flashbacks. Flashbacks were so important I even named my podcast after them. This episode changed all of that. No one knew what this scene meant, or what it would mean for the show. Would we ever see the Island again? Was everyone else dead? Why would Jack want to go back?
The scene followed a moment of true triumph showing them finally about to get off the Island. Many people thought that might be the end of the show. I mean, how else would a show about people stuck on an Island end, right? Well, after this scene we understood that the show was NEVER about getting off the Island. It would take three more seasons for us to find out what the show was truly about.
On a side note this scene also created two of my favorite LFB in-jokes. They would be "wehavetogoback", and "Jack's fake beard"
