Smokey Star becomes an incredibly prolific and celebrated abstract artist! He’s known for being very reclusive and shy, rarely attending his own events, and on the occasion he does, he covers his face with elaborate headgear ranging from a plague doctor’s mask to a disco ball. His fans adore the air of mystery he seems to have.

His work speaks to many with his subjects being incredibly varied. However, all his works have a childlike quality that even young foals can enjoy. He lives a quiet life with his adoptive father Doodlemeister, occasionally venturing out to survey the quality of orphanages and schools. He reports back to Hope Springs if he finds something wrong.

Well, he was annoyed about his journals being messed up but he would never hate the kid for it. He could remember when he was a kid, he once destroyed the kitchen before by accident. Kids just did those things, also not to mention the unfortunate circumstance of how Jataro was brought up...

“No, I don’t. It was getting boring anyway to write in them.” It caught him off guard to be asked something like that but he knew he should have expected it though with how Jataro was and how he was raised. “I wouldn’t hate any of you... being hated isn’t always a good thing you know. Caring for others can be great as well. You wouldn’t say you hated me, right? So why would I hate you?” Hajime hoped his question made sense to the boy, it was hard to determine, even with his skills. 

“But you’re right, they are big and strong too. A walrus can be up to 3.6 m long and weigh over 1.5 tonnes. They can attack boats and their tusks do the most damage but they are very protective animals with their families. I wouldn’t know about killing demons but one Walrus could do a lot of damage and could cause severe injuries.” It was a change of topic and many wouldn’t be able to keep up but it was one thing Hajime could always keep up with. His mind went across multiple subjects as it was thanks to his attention and interest in other things. His mind was always racing.
