Drink and Draw was a decent success! Too bad it was so hot out (and in), but otherwise it was fun on a bun! Gotta try it with more people next time.

Did some hat practice since finding a great reference image that I’ll put below the cut. Heads were a bit weird,but the hats cane out pretty well! Then some body stuff that turned into a new way to draw my avatar (been trying to nail down a design for that for a while). And some open-ended Julie practice. Been a WHILE since I’ve posted any of her!

I was being a switch-bitch with my table cos it was hot by the windows, so I wanted to show them I didn’t have a bad time or anything. 5’s all-round!

First of all, the pose and outfit and whatnot came from a post by Little Digits from last year.

When I finished the line art, I was actually scared to color it in. But I somehow didn’t ruin it. Thinking I’ll run with this style and see where it leads.
