The energy in the club was at full swing as the clock reached midnight. The night before, Jase’s boss expressed his disappointment in his recent earnings. He basically told him to sell more, or some of his fellow goonies would throw him a beating. So that night he worked extra hard, reaching out to any and every patron who looked like they needed his help. The night was still pretty young, considering there were still a few hours till closing— and already it was one of his most successful nights out. That was when he decided a small break was in order. Once he pushed his way past the dance floor, he left the main area of the building and started heading towards Aries’ office. He got to the door and gave a couple courtesy knocks before entering. “Helloo,” he almost sang as he strolled through the door. He placed a folded wad of cash, adding up to nine-hundred-fifty dollars and sat down in an empty chair. “Y’know, I never thought of myself as the type to be into clubs, but this is a pretty nice place you got here.” He continued to speak, eyes scanning the room they were in for a moment. When they fell back on the club owner, he flashed him a grin. He may have bribed one of the bartenders to give him a few shots in exchange for a discounted price, but he was nowhere near tipsy enough to affect his productivity— at least, he thought so.
