Yaaay, thank you! Someone actually remembers Jasper! He really is very cute! (◡‿◡✿)

8. How is/was your OC’s relationship with their parents?

Eh. Okay. I mean, they treat him alright but being the youngest of four they certainly don’t shower him with attention. Jasper’s parents were rather pragmatic about it all, really. They had the heir and the spare and a third son who became a well-respected templar and on top of it all Jasper’s quite a bit younger than his older brothers. There simply wasn’t any room for him in his parents’ plans. Which sounds worse than it is. I mean, they weren’t abusive or neglecting him, they were just ... incredibly preoccupied. 

9. Does your OC feel a pressure to achieve or are they content and calm with doing what they can at the moment?

Somewhat, yeah. By the time he’s made Inquisitor Jasper’s barely 18. He also grew up without a care in the world. Now he’s way in over his head and it seems that few people are actually taking him seriously. Most of his soldiers and agents won’t even recognise him when he walks among them because a mere boy could never be a leader and the chosen of Andraste, right? So while he’s not actively trying to prove them wrong there’s a lot of pressure not to mess things up and to learn as quickly as possible. 

10. Does your OC guard their emotions by being tough? If not how would they?

Nah, not Jasper. He’s pretty straightforward and not afraid to admit to his mistakes. He sometimes likes to pretend he’s more experienced than he is, simply because he doesn’t want to disappoint others but that usually works out in his favour. He’s probably be someone to act tough when he’s hurt in battle because he ain’t no quitter. 

11. How would your OC react to hearing they’re adopted?

That would actually hit him pretty hard. While his parents never really pay him much attention he still loves them dearly. And then there’s his big brothers. Sure, being adopted wouldn’t diminish that bond but at first it’d be a huge shock. Then there’s the whole matter of being nobility and ... well, how do even handle suddenly not being part of that if you grew up that privileged? Also, I assume Jasper would actually come to know while he’s already at Haven/Skyhold? That’d be even more awful! Oh, my poor smol son! :(

12. What is one of the most primary things your OC feels that is missing from their life?

It used to be that Jasper didn’t have a purpose in life. Nothing to strive for. Sure, his parents sent him to join the Chantry but while he went willingly (what else could he have done?) it actually just horrified him ... having to spend his life as a clerk. Now, as Inquisitor he’s got at least that much - even if that’s probably not what he had in mind at all. 

13. What kind of situations does your OC avoid the most?

comment/advice; I love your icon and url. My only advice would be perhaps shifting your sidebar over a bit, or figuring out another way to not have your sidebar block some of your updates tab. That’s all! A+ blog tho. ;)
