The most canon Jardeth thing that exists in ''The Mummy" is when Rick digs the scarab beetle out of Jonathan's arm, Ardeth goes from holding Jonathan's arm to pushing him behind him protectively. It is so instinctive I could scream.

“The man who faces his fears rather than running from them is far braver than the man who thinks he has no fear at all.” Once again, those dark eyes flick up, making unwavering contact with Jonathan’s. “I would call that courageous. Wouldn’t you?” Jonathan frowns. “I’m… resourceful,” he says finally. The word feels better than brave or coward. Humble, but not too self-deprecating. “Or at least, I am when I need to be. Tricky, maybe.” This time, Ardeth definitely smiles. It crinkles up the corners of his eyes, and Jonathan feels a bit transfixed as he watches Ardeth flick his head to get some of his hair out of the way as he begins to wrap a new piece of torn cloth around Jonathan’s shoulder. “You may call it whatever you’d like,” Ardeth says, and his fingers lightly trail down Jonathan’s arm. It makes him shiver, and he turns away just as another stab of pain licks up his arm. Ardeth’s fingertips are warm and calloused, his voice soft as he continues. “But the idea is the same. You’re here, are you not? How many men would have done so in the face of such danger?” Jonathan’s quiet. “She’s my baby sister,” he says, firm as he finally turns his gaze back to Ardeth. It’s not even a question. “Of course I’m here.”
Jonathan needs a little tending to after the scarab incident in Hamunaptra's underground tomb, and Ardeth offers it. Things go from there.
