character i havent drawn in probably years so i dont really know what he looks like anymore.  but he was.  it was probably something.  yeah also try drawing with a light background for once bc i always default to dark ones.. :T

i had a Spectacularly bad day so, self-indulgent portrait of the new boy 💖

new-ish oc, jardain, hes the leader of some sort of cult that worships the void between the mortal plane and the underworld, and they want to bring the void spilling into this world.  its a little more complex than “lets destroy everything”, jardain believes that the balance between light and dark is a cycle and that while light may reign now, dark must have its turn lest the balance be upset.  “as the sun rises, so too must it set,” he would say.  he has no fear of what might (and eventually does) happen to him when the void comes, feeling that not only is it necessary, but that light will come about again and prevail eventually anyways, and he’s only doing his part to enable the cycle to continue.
