They are (rather expensive) custom made flowers made of porcelain, handmade to the needs of what each person desires. Each petal usually contains special dates, words, poems or names that are important to the recipient. (much like getting engravings on the inside of rings but they are more prominent on the backside of each petal) They are a common custom amongst Torvanko residents, even married couples still get "PrommyPetals" as gifts for special occasions. ]
