02 Mar 1941

Our invasion of Borneo, backed by some Siamese troops has progressed well. The defenders we encountered surrendered soon after our landing, making our advance across the island unopposed.

The marines have pushed on through Java, claiming it’s resources and factories. We have put these to work making up our ammunition deficit, which is holding up progress in Yunnan, where we are still unable to make progress.

Our sieges at Yunnan and Xibei San Ma continue to be a drain on our overstretched war production, however our invasion of Sumatra went as well as could be hoped.

As a stream of fresh equipment begins to arrive at our front line divisions, we can begin to contemplate aggressive action again. arching in the Chinese mountains during winter would be foolhardy, but shore landings in the Tropical east indies is much more viable.

01 Dec 1940

We have run our ammunition and fuel reserves dry. We are going to halt all aggression until the spring. New war factories are being built in the come islands and on the China coast to allow us to begin fighting again in 1941.

01 Nov 1940

Our advances into Xibei San Ma, Yunnan and Borneo have all stalled. We do not produce enough equipment to maintain action on 3 fronts for more than a month. As winter set in we plan to wind down our offensives and refocus our economy from construction to arms production.

Our scientists are developing new landing craft, ship models and aircraft to aid our planned campaign through Indonesia, but without the factories to produce them we cannot make use of their work.

01 Oct 1940

Yunnan has lost it’s main factory complex to us, which we are now using to resupply our army. Xibei San Ma continue to hold out in the mountains, our regular infantry there were proving ineffective and so have left the siege. They will support our landings on Borneo in Indonesia.

Singapore has been returned to the Siamese. We could have really used it large war factory and abundant resources, but at least we may now trade for the resources on favourable terms, and a member of the Sphere is now greatly strengthened.

01 Aug 1940

Malaya is now mostly taken, only a few enemy troops hold out in the northern jungle, sandwiched between our marines and the Siamese army. Once this conquest is complete our marines can move on to Borneo to gain access to the valuable oil fields that will fuel our Pacific Fleet.

Xibei San Ma continues to hold out in their mountaintop city, but without food and under constant harassment from our air force their situation is grim. We hope that they will surrender before the winter sets in, as it will make the situation dire for both of us.
