Not a lot of english titles here; since I only learned how to speak english around 14(?). Much of my early childhood has been dominated by assorted patriotic war ballads but the songs that stick out the most to me are two that were played by my surrogate aunt, on vacations to her house in the suburbs, or something between suburbs and countryside.

Magda Umer, Janusz Gajos - Pa! - Role is a song where a movie director frantically tries to confess while the actress he's calling serenades him about quitting her job.

Renata Przemyk - Samolot Rozbił Się Przed Startem stood out not because of it's premise but the power behind the vocalist's voice. I adore Renata Przemyk's singing voice and I hope I'll be able to at least get close to it as a transition goal.
