Jayne really likes Callahan and his sarcasm no matter how hard she tries not to. She considers him as a possible ally, but is unsure whether he will be put out of play by alcohol abstinences. Something about him reminds her of her brother William.
Poppy, district 11:
At first Jayne was really annoyed at Poppy for crashing into her, causing her to spill champagne all over her dress. However she found Poppy to seem quite intelligent, even though she apologized way too much for her liking. Jayne is determined to have an eye on Poppy to find out exactly how smart she is, and if she should try to ally with her.
Linden, district 7:
Jayne only talked to Linden for a very short time, due to that he was very drunk and seemed very silly. She crossed him off her list of possible allies, but who knew maybe she was entirely wrong.
