pre-wedding pep talk
god this is so entertaining i am so glad y'all are asking about these. i have so many WIPs and so many things to say and this one is among my favorites when it comes to the many layers of kit voss. there's actually a good amount of this written that i could probably publish, i just never got around to it.
the premise is that the night before their wedding, kit's nervous that it will blur into the rest of her memories of getting married, and that if that happens, this marriage could end like the others did. thankfully, there's someone there to talk her out of her head and remind her that it's her nerves talking for her, and that even though their wedding day will be perfect, it's just one day. what matters is that that day is the start of a lifetime of memories together. here's a piece of their conversation:
