A lovely assist from Jan Kovář, and Sergei Mozyakin ties Boris Mikhailov for most goals scored in Soviet and Russian hockey, with 428. Mozyakin’s next opportunity to break the record will come on Tuesday against Dinamo Minsk.

Jan Kovar after victory over CSKA Moscow in the 5th game of Gagarin Cup finals. Now Magnitka leads 2:3 in the series, next game is on Sunday, April 17th (my bday! ;)) and it might be the last game in the Gagarin Cup play-offs. (pics taken from vk - metallurg magnitogorsk public page)
