For what I did that made you not pick up the phone

Your wound is closed, youve probably forgotten

But the shame still cuts me deep to the bone

I know better now.

You didnt mean to hurt me

I was a coward for stepping out

Stand in the shower wasting water as I think

Untrainable dog

Lock up me till I believe in your God

The irony in my powerlessness

Against my self and everything that put out into the world

Yet I insist that my treatment be "fair"

As I bite and pick and chew on all my wounds

I say take me back

You know I care

You say thats obvious but there is more to love then brushing someones hair

Im so clueless

Thought i knew how to so this

Reinvent my self and start over with new faces and names

Blow my second chances cant seem to learn my lesson

My therapists say im not to blame

I know its wrong,

Just cant seem to explain

Spend my days dreaming of ropes and bridges,

So shameful for not appreciating what so few people get
