I'm still here. It just feels like everything blew up over the last three weeks. There've been a few things that have happened to us and around us. Every day is checking in on someone, making it to a doctor's appointment, looking for a crash report, making in time for visiting hours, trying not to cry because this gd cast is driving me insane...
We'll be okay. But it feels like I haven't posted in a year. And every time I'm excited and list off all my plans, the universe smacks me upside the head and says, "Oh, no you're not..."
So for like the rest of 2026, I'm not making plans. I'm not going to try to schedule anything or make promises. I'm going to just wing it. Write what I can and post it when I can. I'm going to do a lot more reading and sharing those stories too.
At the end of the day, I'm still here. That's got to count for something, right?
And I get this gd cast off tomorrow. I. CANNOT. WAIT.... πππ

I FINALLY finished Shade, book 2 of my Cottonmouth MC series which will be out 4/18. I'll probably be boring you with that too.
Now, what I'm REALLY grateful for? ALL OF YOU. Most of the time I was quiet, I was trying to get that book turned in and you know what I saw? (Aside from the f*cking The Immortal Man spoilers less than 12 hours after it hit SOME theatres (yes, I'm still a little bitter lol)) I saw a LOT of people find The Arrangement my only Peaky Blinders/Tommy Shelby fic so far. It was going to be a one shot. That's it. And then it turned into this huge series, and I just want to say how happy I am to see so many folks checking it out. It blows my mind because the chapters are huge. It's over 200k honestly. And what I've been seeing is mostly just likes, but that's okay for me. One day I watched someone start the first chapter, and every couple of hours, they'd like the next one. They finished it in 3 days. (I wanted to reach out and ask if they were okay but figured that might be creepyπlol).
But anyway, thank you so much. I've started another Tommy Shelby fic and will start posting it soon. It's called His Last Poem.
I'm also going to call someone out. I'm looking at you @charmed-asylum I'm going to reply, I swear, but I just really want to make a series out of your reviews for Saving All My Love For You right now because I've been smiling and cackling since you started. THANK YOU! That is the best sh*t ever. It made my entire YEAR!π€π€π€
Now I also get to catch up on some awesome fics. I just finally started the Hold You Tight series by @navybrat817 and I've been wanting to get to that for so long. I'm going to be reading @brummiereader's Runaway Girl, Coming Attractions by @imyourlittlechaos (Neil Lewis, she's writing the hell out of that thing lol), Anything You Need by @lau219 (SO GOOD!), Where Wild Bluebells Grow by @cillmequick (this is Steve from 'Steve' and I LOVE this!), Empty Shelves and Promises by @tommyshelby87 (I love the crossover with The Mummy and yes, you should be reading it!) and just anything @stargazingfangirl18 and @andydrysdalerogers writes. At like 3 this morning I was looking at both their recent fics list and thought "Christmas is here early!" πππ
Warnings. I'll be posting another chapter of Saving All My Love For You tonight? Tomorrow? I might be doing a fic on Dracula: A Love Story because Caleb Landry Jones as Dracula (WHOA! π€π€π€) We'll be picking up Under His Skin (confession, I've been stalking a couple of Jonathan RP blogs lately, honestly I like them better than my story but... lol) and yes, we'll be getting back to Ray in Thirty Seconds Away too. π€
I love every damn one of you. Just wanted to catch up a minute. I'll be spending the rest of the week here, writing, and hoping with every fiber of my being that Sinners sweeps the Oscars Sunday. AS IT SHOULD!
I'm working on too many things at once right now. Here? One is a fic I'm trying to crash land. I'm on the last chapter and I just... don't want to end it. π₯Ί One I can't even post a preview for because I'll get killed lol And I have to handle that one carefully... One I might have something to post as a preview a little later today and even though it's a soft story for me, I have a specific following for it that I think is really cool. The fourth, not sure I'm even going to continue. It's hard to explain. π€This is all in the CM fandom.
And then I'm ALMOST done with the next chapter of a fic in my Marvel fandom. Is it going to be worth a damn? Has it been too long? I know some of you have been waiting but the fear is REAL. π¦
Working on Shade for my Cottonmouths MC series and that's going okay. I HAVE to have it done by the time my editor gets back from Barcelona on the 23rd. Wish I could go to Barcelona because it's literally 10 degrees out right now...
And I don't care if it's -5 tomorrow. I'm GOING to go see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. I love the franchise, I suspect we'll see CM no matter how briefly. But Ralph Fiennes??? π€π€π€AND Jack O'Connell (yes, Remmick from Sinners). Take my money.
I'm on a deadline for the next Cottonmouth MC book and a friend of mine asked me to help her out for a couple of weeks. She casts extras and stand ins for a TV show. I used to work for her as an extra on and off for years (before I had kids). I've helped her with casting on and off since 2021 (because I can do that remotely). So I'm helping her get 500 extras booked for a filming day. It sounds exciting but it's really NOT. lol That day films this week so almost done π€Then I can get back to normal...
But I'm going to start posting things today. I'll have some updates on current stories. I have a new one coming... And a lot of stories are returning.
I feel like I say this a lot because my life has been crazy for a couple of years but, thank you for waiting for me. For all the kind notes and all your patience. I see you. It means the world to me. π€
So let's make this a happy, loving, scary, very smutty end of 2025! π€π€π€

I'm still around. I knew there was going to be some transitiony stuff to help the young lady who took my job on campus so I can stay home and work PT from here. But damn... My replacement is awesome. Quick, intelligent, and more than ready to deal with the horse shit she'll have to deal with in a mostly boys club. We went to lunch yesterday, my last transition day technically (until someone "forgets" something). Someone on the team who she won't identify (I'm 99% sure I know who it is) told her she was lucky to get the job and she only got it to replace a female with a female and to keep HR happy. I think she'll handle it. π
At the end of September, Hurricane Helene hit our area. If it or Milton hit your area, I hope you're okay and weren't affected by the storms. Where I live we were extraordinarily lucky. We didn't lose power. Everyone around us in our county had no power for days - my friends who live 2 miles up the road had no power for 9 days. They have a great generator and you need it living out in the country.
Our animal shelter is right on the river and it flooded. The staff and volunteers got the animals evacuated quickly, they were prepared. And all but 10 animals were adopted by their emergency fosters. How cool is that? The other 10 were taken in by another shelter in the northern part of our state. I've been going and helping a couple of hours each week to help clean and sanitize the facility. The dog runs are now operational and the work continues on the rest.
Two weeks ago, while helping there I twisted the hell out of my knee. Never had an injury like it. Went for my follow up appointment at the doctor's office. The good news is that I won't need surgery. It's a meniscus tear. The bad news is apparently I've got a few more weeks to go to heal it and that includes a knee brace and a cane (if you can believe that) on days when it hurts worse. At least the swelling is down. lol
Today, is my first day of my new routine. The girls finished their virtual homeschool - a neat new program I got them in this year. And now, I actually get to write. I'm so excited. I don't know where to start right now, but that's not a bad place to be.
