"Normally I'm the one being told to smile," Adrian nudged Jamie playfully as he noted the stern face on the strigoi's countenance. There was a lot still that he'd not mentioned - the mess of the Road, how six months had been the blink of an eye in reality - and Adrian was unsure how to break through to focus on it. He'd never been good at simply talking but Adrian figured they were past any awkwardness, despite the fact that he was definitely indeed emotionally constipated still. "What do they say.... is this not your usual haunt?"
