RepostBy @muftimenkofficial: “The images I have seen over the past few days will stay with me for a lifetime. I was part of the Turkish Humanitarian mission along the Turkish border with Syria. We spent four days reaching out to refugees, orphans, widows, the elderly and the injured. I saw first hand the extent of human tragedy there. The condition is beyond description. Their stories are worse than anything I’ve seen or heard. Truly a heart wrenching experience. Missing limbs and other body parts, missing family members and many "from riches to rags” stories. It’s hard not to be affected by it all. The Turkish Humanitarian organisation, the iHH is the largest on the ground in that region. They do legitimate work as I’ve seen first hand and they’ve helped thousands. But much more is needed. Please render as much aid as possible to them. Whatever little you contribute can help ease the suffering of these innocent sisters and brothers.
For example, monthly rent to house a family of a widow & 6 children is approximately USD $150 - $200.
