Oct 22nd, 38 women came out as sisterhood in @latimes @glennwhipp w/allegations against James Toback. To date: there IS 400+ woman. Majority of the 38 went to authorities & provided contacts, encouraged others to always do the same. The Toback women recently learned that LA DA will be dropping their investigation. The statue of limitations for his crimes are only within a year. It’s disheartening that all of his assaults were regarding working. In which, there is no protection regarding abuse of power or hostile working environment. SAG/AFTRA didn’t protect & still have yet, contact any of their members that fell victim. And there's some great commentary on the use of the N-word in Black and White (1999). Definitely going to look into some of James' movies.
