In episode 8-9 of the Netflix series Insatiable, I was thrilled when Patty realized her feelings and finally went out with Christian. When they ran off together and Patty finally gave him her V-card, Christian's response was disheartening, yeah. Saying it was fun when Patty finally gave herself up and told him she loved him sucked. I thought he was a douchebag and that it was a good thing Patty left him and came back home. But next episode he made a comeback at a very critical moment, right when Patty had to face possible pregnancy. He went back for Patty because he was worried when she suddenly left and hadn't answered his calls, and when he overheard about Patty's pregnancy he didn't think twice and immediately claimed the child as his. He also told Patty that he loved her too, but Patty totally blew him off like it didn't matter and she was totally like What the hell I don't need this right now when Christian was there for her during one really crappy situation. Okay, I can let that one slide let's just say she was still overwhelmed. Then in the hospital, Christian was still there and what really touched me was when he went over to Patty, held her gently and told her that he was there for her and that he loved her, with or without baby. I loved Christian then. He might not be the perfect boyfriend but he was there for Patty from the start, through shit, and that should count for something. But apparently not for Patty. For the second (and not the last) time, she brushed him off like he didn't say anything at all and removed his hand from her arm like it was a real bother. I mean come on, she should know what it's like to feel undervalued and now she's doing that very thing to him when he was there to value her. Ugh bi+ch. Also, Christian did tell her he'll never leave her. He never did, but Patty left him for not getting an I love you back immediately. I hated Patty then.
