Don’t be sad that Lifetime will soon air the final installment of its Flowers in the Attic movie series, because the April 12 finale, Seeds of Yesterday, brings boy bander James Maslow’s spectacular abs with it.

Maslow, alum of the Nickelodeon series and boy band Big Time Rush, stars as Bart Sheffield, the son of incestuous marrieds Cathy (Rachael Carpani) and Chris (Jason Lewis). And in this Fifty Shades of Rococo clip above, a towel-wrapped Maslow shows off his finely-toned abs as he prepares to welcome his ‘rents to Foxworth Hall, the estate of his late great-grandfather, Malcolm.

The whole Dollanganger family is gathering at Foxworth for the reading of Malcolm’s will, and the impeccably dressed Bart is expecting to inherit the biggest piece of his grandpop’s cash.

Oh, but back to the abs, yes, that is the same Jason Lewis who used to frequently show off his own toned tummy as Samantha’s boyfriend Smith on Sex and the City. Now he’s playing a cardigan-wearing dad.

Lifetime has already aired adaptations of Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind, the first two books in V.C. Andrews’s Dollanganger family series. A third movie, If There Be Thorns, airs on April 5, and will find Cathy and Chris’s secret pasts being revealed to those closest to them… with a little help from their mother, Corinne (Heather Graham), who dons a disguise and moves in next door to her children. (We hate it when that happens!)

You ended up moving to LA a few months after you met him and was working at a photography studio working as an assitant but working her way up the totem pole to accomplish her biggest dream well maybe second biggest dream of becoming a photographer her biggest was to be happy well happy and to have Kendall as a boyfriend and more but it was all a dream up until the other day you were sitting with Kendall watching movies posting cute pics together on twitter and Instagram and he leans over and says “how come we’ve never gone out or dated?” He asks and you at first are shocked stunned butterflies are starting a war in your stomach and blushing as red as the setting sun. You stammer a bit trying to get the words out and he looks and you and begins to talk but you perk up and say “I don’t really know you’ve never asked and I just never thought it’d happen” with a light shrug and with you’re head down he leans over and kisses your cheek ever so softly but also it was more. Your heart raced you blushed more and temperature rose as he did so. You look over to him in his soft green amazing eyes you’ve grown to love more and more and he asks what you’ve waited for for all this time “will you go out with me?” He smiled his brilliant dimpled smile making you melt “y yes?” Your voice brakes some smiling and nervous he just smiles at your cute reaction and said “be ready in one hour?” He asks and you nods and run home and change into some jeans a cute tank and your coat and you rushed back and fixed your hair pulling it back into a simple ponytail and you raced up the steps and about to knock when he opens the door and smiled seeing you and lighting up “hey wow you look great not that you didn’t before I just I’ll stop now so I see you’re ready lets go” he smiled and held his arm out you smile and nod and get into his car with him. He drives about twenty minuets away it’s midnight and you look over “aren’t you tired it’s passed your bed time?” She smiled teasing him “hmm I am a bit but I’ve got my beautiful amazing best friend to keep me awake” he winks and pulls up to his secret spot that only the two of you knew about. You smile big and got out of the car him and walk ahead as he gets the picnic basket and blanket and caught up to you and holds you hand and laces them making you blushes and light up even in the moon light he could tell what he does to you. He smiles and lays the blanket down and then sits down patting the spot beside him you do as asked and sit by him “it’s nice out tonight” you say as he opens the basket he smiles and lights a few candles to see each other better and then sets out your favorite food he makes for you and you smile “you know me too well” “I do but you know me the best” he smiles and eats with you and you feed each other some tell stories about some funny things you’ve done how he got you in paintball and you took funny pictures and hid the really good ones she had hidden for safe keeping. You notice him getting sleepy and you clean up and blow out the candles and kiss his cheek “come on let’s go sleepy” you smile and he opens his eyes and says “it’s you it’s always been you” you look at him deep into his eyes to see if he was lying or trying to see if it was just one of her dreams again teasing her but it wasn’t. She smiles at him and rubs his cheek gently “it’s always been you dimples” you say using your nickname for him and he smiled big and leans up and kisses you deep loving and meaningful you return it and kiss back just as much tangling your hand in his the back of his dirty blonde hair. When their lips hit each others the felt the fireworks the butterflies all those special amazing feeling love joy happiness everything good. When she needed air she pulled back leaning her forehead on his she smiled “what the hell took you so long” she asks he just smiles kissing you again you both laid back on the blanket holding each other he got an extra blanket and you both fell asleep in each others arms happy she got her dream come true.
