It rained all night, and Cabal's eyes recorded 3 flashes of lightning. He kept the house dark save for the fishtank, which painted the interior a solemn blue. It was the anniversary of Shepard's disappearance, and he played the alliances' theme through his implant. He barely heard the knocks on the door, but he jolted up as though thunder shook his home. In a rage, he shouted 'Who's there?' before opening the door. What he saw there dropped his jaw from it's hinges before he smiled big and dumb.
"Nice ta see such a big smile on yer face, Cabal." Jasper replied, soaked with rain. He hadn't shaved for quite a while, except on his upper lip (he looked atrocious with a moustache). His hair was long and stuck on his face, obscuring his eyes. "Haven't seen ya all goofy since.. well, ever."
