The Bee Webb
The eyes of the 20s
The hubble space telescope has been returning the most spectacular images of our galaxy and universe for 30 years now (not counting the initial blurred glitch of course), but either way, it’s been the defining eye in the sky for Astronomers for a generation, but it won’t last forever, and a new Generation is slated to take over in the coming years.
The Roman Space Telescope (pictured above)
Named after Nancy Grace Roman, NASA’s first female exec and chief of astronomy. The telescope while having a similar sized mirror to Hubble, has a far superior wide field instrument and additional features to block out the glare of stars, making exoplanets easier to detect.
Currently it’s slated to be launched in the mid 20′s, can’t come soon enough :)
The James Webb Telescope
The James Webb telescope will work in tandem with the new Roman Space Telescope, it’s primary wavelength is infrared, so while Hubble was mostly an optical wavelength telescope, James Webb will see things simply not possible with current telescopes.
James E Webb ran NASA from 1961-68. The Telescope is scheduled for Launch in March,2021
The two new telescope will revolutionise our view once more, and represent a new generations insights into the universe around us.

James Webb Al espejo
James Webb Telescope's discovery of unexpectedly bright early galaxies challenges current cosmology, revealing rapid galaxy growth after the Big Bang.
