someone reblogged a lot (if not all..) of my wiggle drawings and made comments on her design and it gave me. So. Much. Motivation to explain why I draw her this way. Thank you GOSH I haven’t drawn her in weeks. Below the cuts are my design notes.
First off, the strap I always put right below/on her chest area. This is for her banjo! It has some velcro on the back that the banjo strap attaches to. She keeps it on because she thinks it’s “stylish.”
And the little bracelets! Gramble made her these, they’re made of yarn. She finds them very Important and almost never takes them off. They’re also very soft.
And finally— Yes! You heard me right, an engagement ring.. you can probably guess who it’s from. (I’m a devoted wigglefunny grump. They’re precious.) sometimes she paints on it, but she almost never takes it off unless she’s doing something messy. It has G + W engraved on it! (Yknow, like the heart teens carve into trees.)
And now— some backstory stuff.
I Headcanon wiggle has gone through a lot of careers— most specifically before music, it was acting. She was usually a stunt double for others! Her father also dabbled in this career- despite her mothers distaste of it. Nothing unusual happened, but due to wiggle’s heightened pain tolerance sometimes she wouldn’t notice certain bruises.. there was one event that shook her from this job completely, she missed a jump on set once. She broke a few bones, but was told she was lucky she hadn’t broken her back. She stopped working for the company after that.
..she’s also a fan of the silentgrump games.
I’ll probably do a separate post for her family.
