Merely a rockstar (no hero), Jakekai creates music that reflects on timeless moments during our youth. Honestly he just knows how to get the vibe right. Still, Jakekai understands that everything isn't all glitz & glamour. At times, he even feels afraid when he doesn't know where life's headed (Happy Days) but what he's sure of is music. It's his bliss.

Even before his morning coffee (which he hopes you've saved for him as well!) Jakekai keeps in mind that he has a certain gift of wisdom. "I need to instill to as many people as possible before my time’s up." says Jakekai "I want to make the best music ever made."

One who follows the motto "We have one life to live & we should live it the way we want to," Jakekai's sound strays away from the generic rock or rap. To simply put, it includes a lot of musical techniques found in other genres & creates a mellow soundscape for the listeners. Likewise, he dares the guitar on all occasions to hit him with his best shot. Even in Rum Bottle through the undertone of heavy base, the guitar makes a appeasing low buzz that's heard in an earshot. Moreso Jakekai even lives by his motto with this line from the chorus, "Celebrate drank & we fight the drift." Thus his music makes one feel invincible. It's possible to dance with the wolves in the moonlight (Rockstar) & thankfully Jakekai helps us find our howl.

Originally from Ringwood, NJ, Jakekai defines his hometown as peaceful. You can even say that it's sort of an safe haven. To best put Jakekai into words, he is an "alternative music artist that focuses on bringing feeling though his music through his love of poetry & sound." Since the age of 10, he’s been writing poetry & other forms of writing so it was only right to transition into a miscallenous genre. "It’s something I have deep love and appreciate for." Jakekai adds. Moved by The Doors, Kid Cudi, Led Zeppelin, Mac Miller & all the amazing artist that came before his time — Jakekai's life did a 360. To the highest degree Jakekai concluded that he'd make inspiring music so others could seek inside theirselves & do whatever they please.

Moving forward, Jakekai plans on releasing his first & official E.P. He's been working around the clock on it. "I'm trying to develop new sounds & styles completely unique to me & my team." Jakekai says. "I had fun creating an unreleased track called “Walk With The Devil.” We [Him & Kevi] created our own reverb, playing the bongos, multiple guitars & created a whole new sound. Being an engineer, I get to record & take complete control over how my music is developed." With his brother, Kevy Con he plans on staying in a diverse element of creativity.

For all reasons, Jakekai is forever revered in music & will stay for the long haul.
